Roleplay - 10th of October

Linda sniffs around and stands to look at the surroundings, explores a bit, and then begins foraging close to the group, staying clear of Buckeye. She eats a scorpion she finds and digs up a grub. Seeing Glade looking for someone to give her food, she picks up the grub and drops it in front of Glade, offering it to her.

Tank begins to buldoze into the ground. He pulls up a large skink and begins to devour it quickly.

Lancaster pulls up a beetle but instead of keeping it for himself, he kindly brings it over to Glade and drops it in front of her. He smiles and peeps with graditude.

Ninja comes across a millipede. He pulls it over to him and drags it across the sand to wipe off its toxins. once he's finished cleaning off his meal, he devours it hungrily. Afterwards, he stands on his hind legs to scan the area for danger and to see if he's come across a group yet. But so far all he sees is the rolling dunes and grazing animals all around him. As he continues on, he's unaware that he's closing in on the foraging Willows.

Glade eats the gifts from Lancaster and Linda with gratefullness. She then goes to her siblings and begins playing with them.

Linda smiles as Glade accepts her "gift." She loves pups. She turns her attention back to foraging and begins looking for something she caught the scent of.

Lancaster smiles as Glade also accepts his 'gift'. He would do anything for a pup to make them happy. He gets to foraging for his own food and pulls up a gecko. He eats quickly before his brother tries to steal it from him.

Tank sees his brother pull up a gecko and attempts to make a snatch and run approach but as he sees him eat it quickly he waits for the next morsel he pulls up to steal.

Ninja changes course and heads towards the bolthole Mischka and his mate stayed in.

Linda find the source of what she was smelling and starts digging, recognizing the smell as that of a skink. She digs until the skink's tail is showing and she grabs hold, trying to pull it out. She tugs and it gets dragged out, where she then eats it.

Leon began digging for food. He pulled up a millipede and gave half to Megan.

Megan smiled and ate her half as Leon ate his.

Lancaster pulls up a lizard and starts to eat it.

Tank bounds over and grabs hold of the lizard's tail. He tries to pry it out of his brother's mouth but he has a firm hold on the lizard and he can't get it to budge one bit from Lancaster's mouth.

Lancaster growls and tugs back at the lizard. He refuses to share this delicious morsel with his brother. He growls again telling him to find his own meal.

Tank pulls at the lizard harder and begins walking backwards pulling his brother along with him. Tank is much stronger than his littermate brother and can easily beat him in any game that involves strength. He won't give up until either the lizard rips in half or flies out of Lancaster's mouth.

Lancaster digs his claws into the ground as he's being dragged along by his brother. Tank THINKS that he's weaker than him but Lancaster is stronger than Tank thinks. Lancaster thrashes the lizard, jerking Tank's head forcefully along with it. He hopes the whip lash will make the lizard slip out of Tank's mouth or force him to let go but the lizard ends up ripping in half. Lancaster growls and bounds off to a nearby bush to eat his half in peace.

Tank holds his half clenched in between his teeth and blinks shocked at how much stronger his brother has gotten. He's almost as strong as he is. Tank has definately underestemated his brother.

Linda turns to face Tank and Lancaster, hearing the "tug of war." She grins and returns to foraging. After a bit of foraging, she gets full and decides to lay down with the rest of the mob and rest.

Tank finishes up his half of the lizard. He suffered slight whip lash from the tug of wore with his brother but it doesn't bother him. After all he got what he wanted..well half of it anywayXD

Lancaster forages behind the bush, out of his ravenous brother's sight.

Jackie eats a beetle quickly.

Snowflake digs for food, hoping he'd find something quickly.

Tank pads over to a hollowed out log and forages in front of an opening on the side of the log. he drags up a scorpion from a hole he dug and smacks the scorpion several times with his paw stunning it. He picks up the scorpion and devours it, stinger and claws whole.

Lancaster pulls up beetle larvae. Before eating it he looks around to make sure his brother Tank hasn't noticed him pull up another tasty morsel but seeing that his brother is distracted with his own meal, he gobbles it down at his own safe pace.

Linda decides to stand and help out Verniece with sentry duty, corresponding with her by looking in the exact opposite direction she was. While looking for danger, she looks around for something interesting. The area looks nice. Maybe she'll go and explore the local area near the group soon.

Lancaster moves out from behind the bush and bounds over to a patch of green grass. He catches a grasshopper that just happened to be hopping by and devours it quickly.

Tank peeks his head through a hole in the hallowed out log. He glances at the innerds of the log then pads over to a larger opening on the side of the log. He bobs his head as he enters the log. His keen interest to explore has taken over.

Linda keep a watchful eye for anything that might be dangerous. The last thing she wanted to happen was a predator strike while they were spread out. She didn't want what had happened to her old family to happen to this one.

Leon dug up a scorpion and began eating eating it.

Lancaster pulls up a fat skink but it's so big that it proves to be a challenge to eat. Like a snake, Lancaster widens his gape and inches it into his mouth. He eventually finishes the whole thing which fills him up. Done foraging the day, Lancaster joins Linda and some of the other Willows on sentry duty. With one more gaurd on duty, there's another set of eyes to correspond with the other sentries making it much easier and quicker to spot danger before it cause any death of distruction to the group.

Tank pads through the hallowed out log. He's taking a risk by exploring a habitat that is favored by deadly snakes, especialy at this time of the day where they like to find dark, shaded places to get out of the sun's scortching midday raise. He crawls into a hallow branch that's littered with termites and insect larvae, a meerkat eating buffet! Tank begins to vaccum up the termites and beetle larvae as if he were an aardvark.

Snowflake eats a gecko quickly.

Jackie munches on a scorpion.

Linda decides to lay down and rest for a few minutes. After that, she decides to go exploring around the nearby area and forage along the way. She starts sniffing around and exploring, eating only the things she really likes, and slowly starts to spread out and drift further away from the rest of the mob.

Buckeye keeps issuing contact calls. She gradually leads them further into their terriotry. She keeps looking back, making sure everyone is in line.

Linda follows the group as they slowly move deeper into their territory, falling back in line towards the front.

Josephine wandered along behind Linda, scratching and sniffing at the sand in hope of finding a meal.

Lancaster follows quickly as Buckeye starts to lead the Willows further into their territory. He digs at the ground along the way searching for something he's been craving for for a long time, a scorpion. But finding one in the sand isn't going as easy as he thought it would. He'll have to dig along a log or tree to find one. Or he could've gotten back at his brother and stole the one he found.

Hearing Buckeye issueing lead calls to move on, Tank leaps out of the log through a small hole and quickly follows after the group. He realizes that as he was exploring the group had moved quite a distance away and bounds after them to catch up.

Ninja comes across the burrow Mischka and his mate had been staying in and catches their scent as he takes a whif of the air through his nostrils. He sniffs around the burrow entrance. Their scent is still potent despite that they had left Willows territory 3 days ago. Ninja mulls over investigating the inside of the burrow to see if there may be any females inside. Too tempting to resist, Ninja decides to head below to investigate. Mischka and the female's scent drenches the burrow and tickles Ninja's nostrils as he enters. He moves further into the burrow, peering around every corner and tunnel he comes across. He sniffs at the air as the meerkat couples' scent gets even more intense. Thinking that he's about to find a female, Ninja's heart begins to race from the excitment and he bobs his head and fiddles with his feet barely able to control himself. Unfortunately when Ninja rounds a corner he spots nothing but a dead end. He sighs disappointed that he didn't find a female and exits the burrow. Ninja stands on his hind legs and glances around. Time to find a group to cause chaos at! He bounds off, unwittingly heading towards the Willows.

Linda follows, curious about where they were going next. The previous spot they were foraging at looked good to her, but it seems Buckeye thinks otherwise. Either way she wants to explore the foraging area they're lead to next.

Leon looked up and followed Buckeye.

Megan followed close behind.
