Roleplay - 19th October

ooc: Streak? Sugar is more into Flurry.

bic: Sugar smiled to Flurry and huddled next to him, victory felt good, but she knew groups like the Midnights were very full of pride, and wouldn't give up their land so easily.

Peachy returns above ground with her son Alfonso gently secured by the scruff in her mouth. She joins the Zippers on the patch of dried out grass and cuddles her in son her arms. Churring softly, she licks Alfonso on the top of his trying to calm him down.

Alfonso churrs in content as he sinks into his mother's chest and starts to settle down. The fight in the bolthole has left him a bit traumatized but at least he's safe and back in his mother's warm and protective arms.

Wilson sets his thoughts aside. He was weak then, but he won't show any remorse or mercy again. He won't let this stop him. He tends to his wounds.

Black Widow assumes the responsibility of standing gaurd. With the Zippers still in their territory, letting her gaurd down is the last thing she wants to do. If the Zippers make a charge to run the Midnights clean off their land, she'll alert the group before they even get a chance to use the element of surprise. Black Widow takes her sentry duty seriously. The Zippers aren't going to get past her or the Midnights. The next time they show their sorry faces it's war!

ooc: Woops. xD

ooc: A plot just came to my mind. I'm thinking of having Black Widow seriously wounded during the fight and she gets seperated from the group. She gets too cocky and over confident by foolishly engaging fights with much larger and more powerful opponents.

Running Star finishes claiming the piece of the Midnights' land she had won with her strong group the Zippers. She goes on high alert. She knows the Midnights will most likely come back for revenge and it's good to be prepared.

Peachy looks up from comforting her son and scans the horizon warily. What is Running Star thinking staying here? Couldn't she had picked a better time to wage war with the enemy? There's got to be a foraging spot just as good as this one somewhere in Zippers territory. She and Peachy are pregnant and toying with the enemy is only putting her and Running Star's unborn pups lives in danger plus the Zippers have pups along with them. This is just asking for a pup massacer.

Alfonso huddles against his mother Peachy whimpering. He's still terrified and wants to go home.

Wilson growls, his anger returning. They need a counter-attack. He finishes tending to his wounds, with some dried blood stained on his fur, and starts foraging. He wants to build his strength back up.

Black Widow can smell the scent of Zippers in the air and growls. She rakes her claws across the ground hoping to put them to use later on. She refuses to tolerate strangers making themselves at home in Midnight's territory.

Dominic scent marked the area one last time before barking in triumph.

Teetsie snarled as the bark echoed through the Kalahari. they would be back. With a vengeance.

ooc- Will the second battle be today as well?

ooc: No. Maybe sometime in November. The Midnights are supposed to struggle for a while, feel the wrath of winter, and then attack shortly after Teetsie's litter is born in November.

Black Widow chatters evily. The Zippers won't know what'll hit them the next time the 2 groups meet.

Teetsie snarls at Black Widow. Well, start being useful for a while. No attacking until my pups are born!

Black Widow jolts at Teetsie's snarl. She contains her aggression and focuses on keeping a look out.

Having come for what she wanted and succeeded, Running Star makes lead calls and starts to lead her group back towards Zippers territory. She's starting to feel more exhausted than usual from the advance of her pregnancy.

Peachy is relieved to to hear the lead calls to head for home. Now she's making the right choice! She nuzzles her son Alfonso reassuring him that the danger is deminishing.

Alfonso trots along side his mother but with a bit of a wobble to his stride. The traumatizing experiance with the Midnights today has left him a bit in shock. He sighs relieved to be heading for home and starts to feel better when his nurturing mother reassures him.

Dominic follows, but keeps an eye on his mate.

Teetsie heads below ground.

Latika stays above. Her mother was always like this when they lost a battle. Latika knew she would come above again in a few minutes, but it was best to leave her alone.

Arrow and Springer follow Running Star, they now had a new foraging patch added to their land.

Sugar followed, making sure to stay close by Flurry.

Teetsie growled. She didn't like this burrow, but wouldn't make a move. this would have to be her birthing den.

Skull growled, the next day, they'd have to forage in unknown territories. They'd be very likely to come across other mobs.

Teetsie growled. They would not go forage anywhere past a burrow by not far. She would refuse to show their faces. Defeat by the Zippers was terrible.

Peachy follows Running Star from a distance keeping submissive. She knows after today's events she must be wound up and if she decides to take out her wrath on someone it'll most likely be her since she's pregnant and due to give birth after Running Star. In Running Star's eyes she's still seen as a threat to her unborn pups and Peachy could very likely be facing eviction within the next few days.

Alfonso hobbles as he follows behind his mother. He fell over but quickly gets back up and tries to keep up with the group. The shock has turned into exhaustion and he's slowly falling behind.

Teetsie comes above again and watches.

Black leans back on her haunches and yawns. She's starting to feel worn out from today's events.

Teetsie is staring at the setting sun. the Midnights have had a harsh defeat today. And, it looks like they may be feeling the bite of winter soon.

Black Widow crosses her arms and shivers as she felt a chilly breeze blow through her fur. She growls to herself. Winter is a season she just loaths.

Skull glared at the setting sun, but his thoughts were elsewhere. If Teetsie was going to let her pride get in the way, there would be even less food since she wouldn't be as willing to take them very far foraging. Odds of a group split would be multiplied.
