Roleplay - 15th of July 2009

Juamba emerged. She was was in a bad mood. She stretched and sat by the burrow mouth. She had no intention of working.

Psycho emerges, and with a smirk towards Juamba she began to groom herself. What they needed was a Dominant Male, or even a roving male. She was itching to battle - and win, at that.

Juamba growled at Pyscho. She was getting on her nerves. But she couldn't ignore the fact that she did need a dominant male, or at least to get pregnant. She looked around. Maybe she would have to go look for one...

Psycho smiles a fake, sweet smile. She was glad to be of assistance. (XD)

Juamba rolled over, turning her back to Psycho. She looked across the horizon, trying to figure out what to do. She couldn't just go charging over to a group, demanding that a male comes and be her mate... and after her last run in with the Willows, she was unwilling to fight again, unless the odds were in her favour.

Psycho flicked her ears in annoyance and grunted.

Juamba stood up. She was hungry so she led them out to forage.

*Beginning of Willows invasion*

Buckeye kept her group close as they searched for the Devils. She began to raid their pantry, and beckoned her family to follow. With pups on the way and territories so close, Buckeye wanted to make sure the Devils understood their neighbor's intentions.

Verniece stayed close to Buckeye, looking around while also glancing at Hutch a lot. She didn't want to let her guard down.

Tuck creeped up behind Verniece, and peeked around from behind her. For some reason, he felt safer around her, than he did with Buckeye. Even though he wouldn't let it show, he was slightly scared of Buckeye. She wanted revenge, and he was a warm hearted young one, wanting to leave it as it is, and just keep territory the way it is. Sadly though, they we're already in their territory. And there was no turning back. The unfamilier sights overwhelmed him, and he was stumbling, jumping, and hiding at every new sound.

bic: Verniece smiles at Tuck, trying to reassure him. She wasn't sure if Buckeye came here for territory, where there would be a chance they wouldn't fight, or to seek out the Devils for battle. For now, she kept an eye on the surrounding area as well as the sky.

occ: He's around ten weeks... Oops... I just checked the age thing... I think I accidentally put 10 MONTHS... I should fix that... XD

bic: Tuck smiled back at Verniece, thanking her for the reassurence. But he was still slightly nervous...

Keeko stood tall, keeping guard over his family. He wasn't going to allow the devils to sneak up on them unoticed.
Juamba on the other hand, had no idea what was going on. While her bad mood increased, Bohrok moved away from her and stood as the sentry. She too was unaware of what was happening.

Buckeye wasn't the one who went looking for a fight. She didn't want territory, and revenge wasn't very high up there either. She cared for her family too much to let them be hurt in battle. But she was an expecting mother. The Devils' raid of their territory earlier that month showed Buckeye that the neighbors couldn't be trusted. She wasn't looking to battle, but she wanted to intimidate the Devils with her family's appeareance. This would, she hoped, keep them away long enough for Buckeye to give birth and raise the pups and family. Finally resting under a huge tree, Buckeye groomed each member of her group. She was thanking them for following, and hoped that they understood her reasons. But as the Devils didn't seem to be making a appeareance, she began to lead her family home, hoping that the Devils might get the message anyway.

Verniece smiled at Tuck and nuzzled him, then groomed Buckeye, thankful to be going back to their own land again. She chirps to Hutch, who follows her closely.

bic: Before leaving, Tuck looked back at the barren landscape. It was quite a scene. But beauty does hide many other evils...
Tuck quickly caught up with the group, and lagged slowly behind.

ooc: this should be moved back to the Willows RP.

Making sure that the 8 other members were with her, Buckeye decided to end the mission and quickly led her group back over to their side of the border. Hopefully, they wouldn't be seeing the Devils anytime soon.

Keeko followed, glad to be back on home turf.
Just before they left, Juamba noticed the group. She snarled, but stayed put. They were definately outnumbered, and she wasn't going to risk getting into another fight she couldn't win. She led her group deeper into their territory.

Psycho bares her teeth, digging her claws into the dirt with a snarl.

Bohrok curled her lip to form a snarl. She didn't like running away. Juamba ignored Psycho and Bohrok, looking out for a good foraging site.

Psycho grumbled, watching Juamba angrily while she foraged.

Juamba ignored Psycho's growl. She dug for food and came across a large millipede, and ate it, keeping an eye out for possible theives. Bohrok had her head burried in the sand, and while everyone was foraging, no one was watching thier backs...

Psycho rolls her eyes and digs, eventually finding herself a scorpion, which she eats stinger and all.

Juamba looks up. She thought she heard an eagle. She kept her eye on the skies, but she couldn't see anytthing.

Bohrok looked up. No one was watching their backs... She snickers, and leaves her foraging hole.
