Roleplay - 29th of October

Ariel rolls onto her back and flips back onto her side. She paws at Linda again, enjoying this even though she's still blind.

Lavender and Lancaster look at each other then back at the pups smiling adoringly. Already they are starting to become attached to the pups. It's going to be hard if the Willows lose one or more of them. The facts of either one of them dieing once they emerge from the burrow is high and it's something no one wants to think about.

Linda smiles at the pups. She had never even seen Alice alive, and she couldn't imagine how devestating it would have been if she was attached to them then as much as she is now. She's been able to resist killing Buckeye's pups. Besides, even if she did want to kill them, it's too late. She can't say the same for Maylene's litter though... She gets that out of her mind.

Unaware of Bravo's failed roving trip at the Tiny Kats, Lancaster decides to head back above ground to stand gaurd. He exits the burrow where he stands firmly straight on his legs, going back to being stern in his look out for danger.

Lavender chooses to remain below ground below ground with Linda. She only remembers Alice slightly but her death still effected her heavily. The death of any pup is painful for her whether it'd be a rival pup or an ally pup. She lays outside the pup chamber smiling every so often as she watches them snuggle up to or play with each other and Linda

Snowflake sleeps happily next to Jackie.

Jackie looks around, warily.

Linda gets up and heads back above ground. She sits near the entrance, oblivious that her brother is back on their own land

Lavender decides to remain below ground with the pups for a little while longer. She crawls into the pup chamber and curls herself around the little bundles of joy.

Lancaster glances at Linda as she exited the burrow then returned his gaze to the horizon and skies.

Linda relaxes. All seems quiet and uneventful right now. She stands up, aiding in sentry duty.

Jackie decides to groom Snowflake, deciding to take a quick brake from sentry.

Snowflake grooms Jackie back.

Lancaster swivels his head to both sides and looks both up at the sky and at the horizon as he scans for danger. So far everything seems tranquil.

Lavender lightly presses her body against the pups to keep them warm. She smiles down at them adoringly.

Linda looks around and spots sand-colored fur and a black tail in the vegetation. A meerkat. The figure dissappears back into the vegetation. She starts to get filled with excitement as a thought comes over her. Could it be Ninja? The chances are low, and it could be a dangerous stranger, but she'll take the chance. She sneaks off and heads for where she saw the mystery meerkat, filled with desperate hope that her "forbidden lover" has returned.

A sound attracts Lancaster's attention from scanning off toward the north and he turns his head to see Linda running off somewhere. He tilits his head to the side and blinks curious to know where she's taking off to.

Lavender licks each of the pups, giving them a little bath to rid sand from their peach fuzzed fur. She hates to see anything looking dirty, especially the pups.

Linda enters the vegetation, unaware that Lancaster has spotted her, or who the mystery meerkat really is.

Jackie and Snowflake keep grooming eachother until Snowflake gets bored and decides to go for a walk. Jackie stays and stands sentry again.

Lancaster is tempted to follow after Linda but he doesn't want to leave Lavender to watch over the pups by herself. He looks to the burrow then back to the direction where Linda ventured off in. He decides to stay where he is and will keep an eye out for Linda's return.

Unaware of Linda following after an unknown stranger, Lavender has finished giving each pup a "bath" and moves on to snuggling with them to keep them warm.

Linda searches, trying to find this mystery meerkat. She can't see in front of her, and she suddenly runs into the stranger, who isn't a stranger at all. It's Bravo. She greets him, but lets a dissappointed sigh slip out, and heads back for the burrow. She was expecting someone else.

Bravo looks curiously. What did he do? He follows, and they head back to the burrow. He's tired, hungry, and smells of rival mob.

Lancaster blinks and peeps, curious, when he sees Linda return. What was her quick trip into the vegetation for? He sees Bravo return shortly after Linda had returned to the burrow. He sniffs the air as he picks up the scent of a rival mob from him. Lancaster tilits his head assuming Bravo had been roving all day and chirps asking him how his roving mission went.

Lavender is unaware of Bravo's return and is still cuddeling with the pups.

Bravo chirps back. It was okay. Even though he didn't get to mate, he got to scout the local mobs and get the excitement he wanted. He stops, noticing Linda's still close enough to hear. He wants to tell Lancaster about his most interesting find, but Linda must not find out.

ooc: Fill in please?

Lancaster nods and isn't surprised to hear that Bravo's roving trip was unsucessful. It's typical for rovers to struggle with finding breeding appertunities at this time of year but it's a good time to scout out potential favored groups and females. Lancaster then notices Bravo looking like he has something urgent to tell him and tilts his head curious to know what it is.

ooc- Nothing has really happened here. Bravo just returned to the burrow.

ic- As if by chance, Linda heads into the burrow to check on the pups.

Bravo watches her go down, and once he's sure she can't hear, he chirps to Lancaster. He met Ninja, and he's the one that gave him his injuries.

Lancaster blinks his eyes shocked. He remembers encountering Ninja a while ago when he chased him off the burrow premises and when some of the males trapped him in a bolthole and then attacked him. He peeps (Did you kill him?>:J)

ooc: Ninja will become the Willow's most hated roverXD

ooc- Much to Linda's dismay

ic- Bravo chirps again. He didn't kill him. In fact, he probably got injuried more than Ninja did.

ooc: Ninja's future roving trips to the Willows will get more interesting >:J

Lancaster growls lightly as if to say "Darn it!" but seeing that the mischievous male has been here a few times and had seemed to favor this group, there will surely be a next time for the Willow males to get their claws into him.

Lavender looks at the pups longing to give them a feed as some of them start to wail in hunger but she's too young to provide milk for them.

Linda enters the chamber and notices the pups are hungry again. She really should conserve energy for her own pups, but she can't pass up the opportuinity to care for the pups of the one who, figuratively speaking, has herself and her litter at the throat. She lays next to the pups and starts to feed them.

Bravo looks into the horizon. Next time he won't stop at a warning, as long as his pesky friend doesn't tag along.
