Roleplay- 15th of November

Tank uncovers a beetle and eats it slowly. He's noticed that Buckeye hasn't punished Linda yet but knows a vicious repremand is coming to her eventually.

Tuck hangs his head and watches with wide eyes. This should not have happened. Who did this?

ooc- Wait, who's Tuck?

ic- Linda finished another millipede and stops.She's still hungry, but doesn't feel like eating anymore. She padds over to Bravo and offers some grooming.

Bravo accepts it, but doesn't groom back. He resumes foraging.

Ariel peeps to Tuck, still shocked about what happened. Linda cames and attacked the pups. She doesn't know why, as she's too young to understand what maternal instincts sometimes get expecting mothers to do to newborns.

ooc: Tuck was a character I forgot to play.

Linda stops the grooming and sits. The thing she's done today will haunt her forever, if she doesn't die because of it today.

Tuck is hungry, so he makes his way past Luna and too the surface.

ooc- Tuck is an adult right?

ic- Ariel follows Tuck above ground. She doesn't like to be alone, and was staying below ground becuase no one else was above ground.

ooc: No. he's the same age as Hutch.

Tank forages at the frindges of the group to think and be alone. He desperately wishes to wake up in the burrow hoping that Linda commiting murder on his pups was a dream but as the minutes tick by, his wishful thinking is failing him. This is indeed a real life nightmare. He fights to stop thinking about today's tragic event so he can focus on gaining his weight back.

Lancaster sees Tuck and Ariel make their way towards the burrow entrance but doesn't intend to think about following them above ground. He's planning to stay in the burrow to weather the conditions of Snicker and Triscuit.

Triscuit is resting and has stopped whimpering.

Tuck looks around. He smiled when the sun's rays warmed him, and he started to dig, hungry as heck.

Lancaster looks over to Snicker then back at Triscuit worriedly. Their conditions are the same so far. He hopes they begin to improve and not go south.

Tuck finds a beetle larvae and eats it. He's still hungry though, and moves a little further away from the burrow to search.

ooc- Is the newest litter old enough to eat regular food yet? I don't know these things too well.

ic- Linda looks at Tank and sighs. She'll never be able to make up for it. She wishes it was a dream too, but her inability to control her maternal instincts is all reality.

Tank digs into the ground and soon uncovers a bombedier beetle but since he's still all wrapped up in his thoughts, he was too slow to prevent its hot acid from spraying out of its rear end and nailing him in the face. He yelps and begins rubbing his face. It burns!

Maylene churrs to Triscuit and Snicker letting them know that their mother was nearby and was watching over them.

ooc; I don;t think do.

Linda walks over and tries to help clean the beetle acid off. She wants to show him that she cares.

Triscuit suddenly comes to but she didn't hear her mother's churr since she's temporarily deaf. She crawls pulling herself towards the right and begins to wail wanting the comfort and warmth of her mother.

Lancaster looks at Maylene with sympathy. He hates to see that she's going through this. Maybe if that stupid Ninja didn't get Linda pregnant, this terrible event wouldn't have taken place.

Tank jolts at Linda's touch but for now allows her to clean off the acid since he can't himself.

Linda cleans the acid off and offers Tank some grooming. She's desperate for a chance to show she nolonger means harm.

Maylene then brings Snicker and Triscuit over to her and huddles them close to her.

Tank continues to allow Linda's grooming. It's actually helped to calm his temper and distress but he is still angry with Linda. He'll only forgive her when he's ready and feels that it's too soon to accept an apology from her.

Triscuit churrs in content as she feels the warmth and comfort of her mother.

Lancaster lays beside Maylene and her pups and gently tends to Snicker and Triscuit's injuries. It seems they're pain has subsided for now as he no longer hears them crying out in pain.

Linda calms down a little herself. It will be a long road before this has all passed, but at least they're starting.

Tank sits down. His anger has faded but it'll be awhile before he gets over what Linda had done to 2 of his pups.

ooc- I'll just say Ariel still only drinks milk.

ic- Ariel watches as Tuck digs for food in curiousity. She hasn't had solid food before, and is unsure if she's ready to try.

Linda stops the grooming and quietly walks back to the main group.

Tank stays where he is as Linda walks away from him. He also decides to keep his distance from her and resumes foraging.
