Roleplay- 15th of November

Sarah is worried and confused and turns to Ariel.

Standing onto all four paws, Josephine gently nuzzles Lancaster hoping he would stop growling at Mozart. Happy endings come few a far between the harsh reality that is the Kalahari and she understands that sticking together united will improve all their chances of survival. Churr’ing, she smiles to herself, proud that other meerkats can notice the wonderful caring qualities that Lancaster possesses.
Padding past Lancaster and over to Tank, Josephine rubs against him caringly as well before standing on her hind legs to check the sky for predators.

Ariel huddles next to Sarah.

Bravo yawns and tries to remain focused as sentry.

At the fallen tree, Linda is scouring the wreckage for a place to sleep for the night. She knows from past experiance that a cold and itchy hollow log is a poor shelter, but it's better than staying in the open.

Lancaster glady allows his brother to get in between him and Mozart. This is a potential relationship he wants his brother to dash. Lancaster looks to Josephine as he's nuzzled by her. He abruptly stops his aggression towards Mozart. He agrees with her that everyone needs to get along if they are work together to survive in a place like this. He faces Mozart and apologizes for being hostile towards her.

Tank glares at Mozart. He'll be watching her. He breifly grooms Josephine in a caring matter as she brushes passed him. He also goes on gaurd, keeping an eye out for predators, especially night time ones as they will be emerging soon.

Sarah watches with fear showing in her eyes. She says very little but her emotions show. She cuddles up to Ariel fearfully.

Lancaster turns away from Mozart trying to ignore her. He begins to get a feeling that if she continues to pursue him things could get nasty between her and Josephine.

Tank grooms his brother's shoulder to soothe his ruffled nerves. He'll be making sure Mozart doesn't pursue him.

Linda finds what appears to be a suitable shelter, a hollow log on the ground. She tries to squeeze in, but it turns out to be a little too small for a meerkat. She pulls herself out, wincing slightly as inward-bent pieces of wood scratch her back, leaving minor but irritating wounds. She continues her search.

Lancaster thanks his brother for his soothing meerkat styled massage. He begins to feel his worries and tension ease.

Tank grooms along Lancaster's back. After today's events, the soothing interaction is much needed medicine to ease the anxiety.

Ariel grooms her sister, trying to calm her and herself down.

Below ground, Triscuit is tucked comfortably into her mother's fur. She has drifted off to sleep. The effects of her injury have finally drained her of all of her strength.

Sarah starts to calm down... She sighs and closes her blue eyes.

ooc: I was thinking of drawing Sarah and Cleo's littermates as Pokemon... Since both are based off my Pokemon characters... What do you think? XD

Lancaster returns the favor by calming Tank's nerves. Out of the 2 of them he imagines he must be the most distressed. After all he had nearly lost his whole littermate to a murderous pregnant female.

Tank feels extemely distressed but is holding his emotions back at the moment. However he begins to feel relaxed when Lancaster offers him some soothing grooming.

Ariel looks around. She's confused and scared. What if Linda comes back and tries to kill all of the pups, including them?

Linda finally finds a suitable spot. It's a partially buried log with a large hollow space and a partially obscured entrance. She crawls in tail first and goes as far as she can inside. It's far from roomy and comfortable, but it shields her from whatever may lie outside. She rests her head on the sand floor, trying to block out the cold, unforgiving feeling of the wood against her.

Lancaster and Tank take turns grooming each other. Both begin to feel more at ease. For now they have put all of their negative emotions aside.

Sarah frowns. She doesn't want her sister to be hurt, nor any of the other pups... She tries to comfort her sister with a little nuzzle, praying silently that it won't happen...

Linda tries to fall asleep, but her racing mind and uncomfortable feeling is making it hard. She shivers and closes her eyes, trying to imagine things aren't as bad as they are.

Ariel nuzzles Sarah back and heads to Tank and Lancaster. She feels safe around them.

Tank and Lancaster look down at Ariel and smile warmly. They'll make sure to keep her and the other pups safe. If today's events are to repeat any time soon, they'l make sure it won't heppen to her or any of the other pups.

Sarah follows shyly. Her sister was one of the few she really felt safe being open to when it came to her feelings, so she was unsure. (Sarah is very quiet and shy, as well as sensitive... But very kind and loving too... She can also fight well, but not until she's older.)

Tank and Lancaster smile at Sarah warmly. They can see that she's shy and will be taking it slow with her. When she starts to feel comfortable with interacting with them they'll be glad to do so.

Linda manages to fall asleep despite her worries and the uncomfortable shelter she's in. The days events have sapped all of her energy.

Ariel tries to groom Tank's leg, which is little more than a light nibble.

Sarah slowly follows until she's right behind Ariel and pauses, looking down.

Tank chuckles. Ariel's attempt at grooming tickled but it's enough to drain all of his tension. He leans forward and offers her a bit of grooming.

Lancaster watches Sarah and Ariel adoringly.

Bravo waits for Buckeye to lead them home.

Tank grooms Ariel gently. Being a large male he could easily knock the little pup down if he isn't careful about his strength.

Lancaster wants to approach Sarah but hesitates. He doesn't want to make a sudden movement which could spook the shy pup.

Ariel churrs gently as Tank grooms her. It's helping to calm her nerves.
