Roleplay- 16th of December

Knowing that the adults need to eat too, Sandy tries to catch food by herself. She catiously approaches and ant's nest. The last time Sandy attempted to eat ants, they bit her and refused to budge. The ants were later removed from Sandy's fur, but it wasn't a pleasent experience.

Maple sighs heavily, unwillingly going back outside of the burrow. She takes some time to remove the fleas and ticks that collected on her while she was inside. This was just not right. She couldn't even help the poor pups inside the pest infested burrow.

Unaware of Maple fighting a losing battle against the parasites back at the burrow, Carnation has unearthed a plump, juicy worm. She slowly works the wriggly prey down her gullet.

Ruby peeps thanks to Carnation and happily eats her beetle.

PK continues foraging.

Kal and Sacha also forage.

Carnation smiles at Ruby then returns to foraging with the intent of finding food for herself.

As Akina ate, she thought that even though their morning was a bit distasteful, their foraging trip was showing success.

Soon enough, Carnation is rewarded with a lizard. She kills it in her jaws then devours her scrumptious prize happily.

Kaz, starving, almost dived into the sand digging. He dug a rather deep hole, and found a large skink- fat and juicy. He churred in triumph, and began to persue it, and finally grasped it. He bit its head, and held it up, ready to devour it.

Ruby continues begging, still hungry and hoping someone would help her.

PK hears Ruby begging. He digs up a gecko and after quickly killing it, drops it by Ruby's paws.

Ruby smiles at PK and quickly eats the gecko.

Sacha eats a beetle quickly.

Kal consumes a scorpionn.

Sandy eats some tasty ant larve from a nest, but is too distracted savoring them to notice the soldier ants pouring out from the hole. Once again, Sandy retreats to remove the pests. At least she got some food out of it.

Starburst forages near PK and Carnation, she digs hungrily but rolls onto her side to reach a itch, she knaws at it uncomfortably

Kiki forages next to Kal, she grooms herself roughly

Penny also forages

Felicity sits at the burrow mouth, grooming herself

Carnation has found a large millipede. She drags it along the ground, ridding its toxic coating, then when she feels it's good enough to eat, devours it with pleasure.

After removing the pests, Maple looks back at the burrow and sighs. The poor pups inside... She wished she could do something, but even if she removed the pests, more would instantly replace the ones she removed.

Kaz, seeing no bothersome pup around, quickly snapped up his prize. He continued to forage, and found a fat, juicy locust. It was rather large, and he felt like he wrestled it down. Killing it, he began to eat it.

Carnation detects another mouthwatering scent in the same spot she dug in. She shifts her position and begins digging rapidly.

Kal forages, avoiding walking to far away from Kiki.

Sacha and PK also continue foraging.

Ruby also tries foraging by herself.

Maple sat down near the burrow, looking down. If only those pups were old enough to emerge... Hopefully, a burrow move would be considered. No, it HAD to be done! This burrow was officially unfit to live in.

Sandy soon gives up independent foraging and resumes begging.

Carnation pulls up a juicy worm but Sandy's heartmelting begging calls halt her from scarfing it down. She generously delivers it to Sandy, caving in to her pleas once more.

PK quickly eats a scorpion.

Ruby continues attempting to find her own food.

Kal eats a gecko.

Sacha quickly consumes a millipede.

Sandy churrs a thanks to Carnation. She then realizes that the tasty-looking worm could have been Carnation's. She decides to share Carnation's generous gift to help another pup. Sandy slices the worm as evenly as she can in half, and gives one half to the struggling Ruby.

Carnation smiles with adoration as she sees Sandy offer a piece of the worm to Sandy. She admires it when pups are generos to each other. It's so adorable!

ooc: lol, my ferret is being cheeky. And, in this book, i was really annoyed because they were calling meerkat pups cubs- they arent lions or wolves!




Kaz finished his share of the locust, bringing the remains to a pup, sandy.

Sandy eats her own half of the worm. She chirps gratefully and gobbles down the remains of the locust Kaz found. Full and satisfied, Sandy yawns and lumbers to the shade of a large tree so that she can make up the sleep she lost to the pests last night.

Shallow is wandering around in disorientation through jumaa trerritory, desperately searching for a new mob to call home after losing all hope of finding his original mob he has become seperated from.
