Roleplay- 16th of December

Ninja pauses for a moment to exchange loving nuzzles and bid nervous farewells with his mate before he soldiers on. He knows he's taking a huge gamble. There's a possibilty he could die on the front lines, leaving Linda to care for their offspring alone. But he reassures her he'll be fine. He promises to return safe and sound with the rest of the mob. He'll be there to see their bundles of joy emerge from the burrow for the very first time, when they start to forage with the mob and he'll be there to experience them blossoming into responsible young adults. The Jumaa will win, he believes they will. The Jumaa are extremely dedicated to each other and have excellent team work ethic. Together, they'll over power the Midnight dominants and vanquish their hideous foes once and for all. He lets out a soft churr as if to say I love you, don't worry I will come back alive He parts with an affectionate smile and resumes following the group towards Midnight's land.

Mischka watches Root and John join the mission nervously. He hopes everything goes well and the mob doesn't return with tragic news that someone was killed in the battle.

In the burrow, Ninji is also completely oblivious to her family embarking on a revenge mission and returns a playful swat at her brother Tyson.

Petal watches as Linda and Ninja exchange nuzzles and parting farewells, before the adult female came back over. She whines a little bit, feeling horrible if anything happened to Ninja, and also anyone else who was going. If Root was killed... She shook her head. No, no... Root wouldn't die. This mob had a powerful bond, they'd ensure no one would be killed during this mission. She sat near Linda, Chocolatine, and Mischka, hoping and praying with all her might that the group would come back alive. She blinks back tears that longed to come out, but she knew she shouldn't be shedding tears right now. She had to be strong, she had her own part to play in this. And that was to help the others who stayed behind protect the future generations of the Jumaa.

ooc- Off-topic but at 80 degrees this is the hottest day of the year so far!

ic- Linda watches as the rest of the mob heads off to fight the Midnights. She sees Petal and nuzzles her reassuringly, as if to tell her that they'll make it back. Deep down though, she's uncertain and nervous herself.

ooc: Wow! We're supposed to be in the 80s tomorrow where I live. I'm gonna savor it as much as I can while it lasts:3

Mischka scoots closer to Petal and offers some reassurance of his own by placing his head on her shoulder. He nuzzles the side of her face compassionately to help calm her.

((OOC: That's normal weather in CA for me. xD And Yoshkat, Petal isn't going with the group, she's staying behind at the burrow. xP Root and John, however, are going with the group.))

Petal feels a bit reassured by Linda and Mischka, staying close to them and not wanting to leave their comfort. She hoped that the group would be okay and everyone would come back alive. And to bring the news of the Midnight's defeat.

ooc- Really? It's always the extremes here. In the negatives during winter, 90+ in the summer.

ic- Meanwhile, Tyson's playfight has turned into a game of tag as hetaps her with his paw and runs.

Linda continues to watch the group leave. Her stomch growls and she remembers she's hungry. She's stayed at the burrow every single day since the pups were born, and it's slowly starting to take it's toll.

Ninji squeaks with excitement and darts after Tyson. Having not mastered the ability to use her legs effectively yet, her gaits are wabbly and she trips over her own feet at times.

Mischka's stomach aches too much from nervousness for him to be able to eat. He's lost his apitite thinking about the uncertainty of the Jumaa coming out of the battle unscathed. He just has a really bad feeling...a feeling he can't manage to shake...

Petal could hear Linda and Mischka's stomachs growling. She decides to be some use and began to forge around the burrow. She finds a millipede and removes its toxins. She brings it over to Linda and drops it at her paws before going back and resumes forging to find something for Mischka to eat. The babysitters needed their energy, especially to protect the litters inside the burrow from predators. Despite being worried about her brother and the rest of the mob, she knew she had to be strong, especially for the pup's sakes. Any hesitation while trying to protect them could result in more of the Jumaa's future being taken away.

Chocolatine sees Petal's concern for keeping the babysitters' appetites at bay, and realizes she should do something to help as well. She heads a few feet away from the burrow, using her keen nose to sniff out what meager prey she can find. She finds a rather large, black beetle, and grabs it lightly in her jaws. She's not really hungry yet, so she walks back and drops it at Mischka's feet, smiling at him as she does so.

OOC: It gets from like 40 degrees in the winter, to like 90+ here in the summer. xD. It's been like upper 80's here for like 2 weeks, it's pretty miserable xD

Mischka smiles generously at Chocolatine. Understanding her and Petal's concerns about him and Linda needing the energy to be able to function effectively at gaurding the pups, he accepts his serving and chows down on the large beetle slowly. Even though he isn't hungry, he needs the strength incase a situation comes up where he'll need to be strong to help keep the precious little lives below protected and fend off what ever intruder may appear.

ooc: EEK!!! 8 pages already?! I'm guessing the mob's out foraging now.

Cactus scrapes the sand, looking for a meal.

ooc: I know right?D: Lol this mob is very activeXD Currently, the Jumaa are heading off towards Midnight's territory intending to wage war and take revenge from them for killing 2 of their pups.

ooc- Everyone here always seems to wish it was the opposite it is. During the winter when our legs are numbe with temp. as low as -10 F. we wish it was summer, and wish it was winter during the summer with 90 degrees.

ic- Linda thanks Petal and eats the millipede before continuing to forage for herself. Her pregnancy has been over for about 2 and a half weeks now, but since she still has a litter to feed her hunger hasn't completely returned to the way it was before she got pregnant.

Duke remains at his mate's side, his stern, determined look showing his willingness to bring their arch-rivals to justice.

((OOC: I'm okay with the weather as long as I can keep myself either warm or cool. I only hate the Summer due to my random nose bleeds because my nose dries up big time and coughing up blood as a result of that. >.> Otherwise, I'm okay with it.))

Petal finds herself a centipede and eagerly devours it, knowing she'll be needing her energy as well. She was glad to see Chocolatine helping as well.

John walks with determination. Those Midnights were going to brought to justice today, at long last.

Root was nervous, but didn't turn back. Not now. Not ever. He was going through this, no matter how scared he'd get.

Chocolatine ventures a little farther from the burrow, not finding anything in the immediate vicinity. She digs up a tasty-looking worm, long and pink. Though she isn't particularly hungry at the moment, she knows she must keep up her energy to care for and defend the pups. So, she munches it down bite by bite, struggling a bit, but finally swallowing the last of the wriggly creature.

ooc: EeewO-o I hate winter. Where I live the temps usually hover between 20-30 degrees through out the day but at night it gets to be in the teens. Summer is my all time favorite season mostly because that's when our top thunderstorm season is (Yes, I is a weather noobXP) and it gets to be in the 80s but it gets up to the 90s often as well, along with being humid it can get uncomfortable.

Watching the babysitters forage around the burrow influences Mischka to start finding delecacies for himself. He's going to need the strength if he's to prove of any use in keeping the pups safe from potential threats, so with the thought in mind, he sets about scraping at the earth on the fringes of burrow grounds.

Ninja marches on, glaring with determination in the direction of Midnight's territory. They will pay for their heartless deed and he'll make sure the justice they recieve is harsh, merciless and cruel. He wants them to suffer for taking 2 of kids' lives!

Conker struts close behind his father, Duke. Despite being too young to fight, he's determined to particepate in bringing the Midnights to justice.

Saffron lags at the back of the group, treading at a slow pace. She's in no hurry to particepate in a violent and potentially fatal fight. She doesn't want to die! She's way too young to be putting her life at risk and is begining to think it was a very bad idea to tag along. What was she thinking!? It's TOO dangerous for a pup her age to be marching off to war but It's too late to go back now so she must push herself forward and remain strong. She can do this. She just needs to stay confidant, and hey, she doesn't have to take part in the battle. She can stick to the side lines but she doesn't know that doesn't mean she'll be safe.

Kinkajou sees Saffron and hangs back , she picks the pup up and trots to the front of the group , she places her next to Conker , and then she moves forward so shes just by Aliyas side ..

Aliya can tell they are getting closer to Midnights territory, she was begining to be able to detect their scent.

Suri and Emzio nervously walk behind Aliya, their skin crawling the secound the Midnight's smell hits their noses.

As the scent of the Midnights became stronger, John's determination of showing the evil mob justice got stronger. He was very eager, the first Midnight he'd see, he was going to instantly attack. He was more than ready to help Ninja avenge his two pups who had their lives cut short.

Root gulps as he began to smell an unfamiliar scent. Another mob... This must be the Midnights that he had heard about. He tries to keep a brave look about him as they kept going.

Petal finds a big spider and pounces on it, instantly devouring it before it could do anything.

Saffron instantly relaxes in Kinkajou's comforting hold. She allows her body to dangle and sway with the compassionate female's movements. As she's placed down next to Conker, a sense of security comes over her. She trusts the bold little warrior would let nothing bad happen to her and would defend her with his life. He was there for her during her cobra bite scare and will mostly likely be there to keep her safe in the midst of the battle. With her confidance and courage boosted, she increases her pace to a strutting trot. The smell of the Midnights no longer intimedates her. She's ready to particepate in the revenge mission. Bring it on Midnights!

Conker glances at Saffron as she's placed down next to him. He smiles and gives Saffron a brief assuring nuzzle on the side of her snout, which uplifts her spirit immediately and encourages her to soldier on. He could sense her fearfullness and is glad he helped made her feel better with that little encouragement. He marches side-by-side with her, dedicating himself as her body gaurd. He promises to protect her and won't let anything bad happen to her. He'd fearlessly defend her with his life.

Ninja moves along hastily as the Midnight's scent intensifies. They're almost at their border and closer to bringing them to justice. With each placement of his paws, he flexes his claws, urging to shed Midnight blood. Those Midnights will trembling with extreme fear once the Jumaa are finished with them.

Mischka digs up a rather large beetle and devours it quickly, his hunger rapidly returning to him.

Linda forages slowly, too nervous to really focus on the task.

Duke looks ahead as they move. He still remembers the one he saw that killed one of the pups, that Wilson. The two have faced off in the past, when Little Boy was killed, and he wants to deal with him personally.

Tyson stumbles as well, but keeps running, down towards the bottom of the burrow.

Cactus glances at Conker and Saffron, giggles, and continues with his mob deeper into Midnights territory. He knows he has to get serious now, though, as the Jumaa will soon fight the Midnights. Cactus thinks of what happened to the pups that could have been his friends and playmates to get him in the mood for the battle.

Ninja remembers very vivdly that the Midnight's dominants, Teetsie and Wilson, were the ones responsible for killing 2 of his pups. They're the ones who will be braught to justice and he'll make sure their punishment will be painful and cruel, but before he's able to pit himself up against either one of them, he's going to invoke his wrath on any other Midnight who's unlucky enough to end up in his enraged path. He's determined to make the Midnights beg for mercy, and if it's going to be accomplished by killing one of their members, then that's the justice he'd pleasurely serve them.

Conker courageously marches closer to the Midnight's border with his family. He hopes there will be an adversary his size he could go head to head with.

Saffron treads close behind Conker. Her heart is pounding but her nervousness has been replaced by adrenaline, so she's pumped and ready to go to battle.

At the burrow, Mischka is now ravenous and shredding up the ground furiously and angrily. Since he had chosen to stay behind to help gaurd the pups, he can take his anger out on the Midnights by ripping up the ground and any vegetation that is in his path. He remembers that it was Wilson and Teetsie who killed the 2 pups and hopes they suffer terrible consequences for their heartless deed.

Ninji leads the chase into the deepest depths of the burrow. She topples to the floor a few times but is quick to scramble to her feet and continues keeping ahead of her brother Tyson.
