Roleplay- 16th of December

John nods in agreement with Duke. Ninja needed to get inside to avoid being at risk of being attacked by a predator. As much as he didn't want to ruin the touching reunion, he gives Ninja a small nudge toward the burrow. He and Linda can have their alone time in there and be safe.

Root gets ready to help Ninja get inside. The sooner he was in the burrow, the sooner he can be safe and sound. He knew Linda would take good care of her mate and would do everything in her power to care for him.

Petal feels sick in her stomach as she saw Ninja's horrid injuries. They looked very, very painful... The poor male...

Ninja gladly complies and allows John and Root to escort him into the burrow. He'll be much safer in here where predators won't be able to gain access to him. It's just in time he made it into the burrow as it seems his ability to maintain his grip on conciousness is faltering. He droops his head, panting heavily. That last burst of energy of him darting towards the burrow took the very last drop of his strength.

Mischka ascends up the burrow slope at the moment John and Root are helping Ninja into the tunnel. He's horrified to see the grisly extent of his injuries. Looking over the all of the others, he realizes he's the worst off. He frowns, worried about his friend. It doesn't look like he's going to make it.

Aliya is relieved to see the babysitters are appearing alive and well. She is also relieved to see Ninja was able to get in the burrow safetly. He now had a better chance of survival. She is unaware of the tragic news the babysitters are soon going to deliver to her. (What is the 'tragedy?' I haven't been following the Jumaas' board much since the fight...)

Suri is also relieved to be safe now. She stops walking and decides to assess the damage she'd received in the fight. She had deep gashes in her front legs and stomach. They were also quite sore and had left her slightly dizzy. She starts tending to the wounds on her legs. She was also unaware of the news the babysitters were yet to deliver to the group.

Emzio is also relieved to be home. She watches as Ninja gets into the burrow, hoping he'll make it through the night.

ooc: Kamaria, who had stayed behind to babysit, killed one of Kumi's (also stayed behind to babysit) pups and badly injured another.

Saffron rushes over to the burrow, worried about Ninja. She hopes his outstanding willpower will be enough for him to be able to survive the night.

Conker had witnessed John and Root escort Ninja into the burrow. He noticed the brave male looked extremely anemic and his body scored will grisly looking wounds. He swishes his tail, extremely worried. He's terrified about the prospect he could die. Horrified, he burries his face in Mischka's fur, whining, both disturbed by how horrific his wounds looked and distraught about the fact Ninja could succumb to his injuries. He's going to die... isn't he?

Mischka glances down at Conker, uncertain about what Ninja's fate will be. He tries to stay positive and nuzzles Conker comfortingly, reassuring him Ninja will survive, despite feeling doubtful himself. But he doesn't want Conker to know that. It would certainly upset the poor little pup. Ninja looks to have lost a copious amount of blood. It was astonishing to see him on his feet, let alone was able to make it home alive. He would've expected to be informed of his death when the Jumaa arrived. Though, he isn't all that surprised. from his past experiences of roving with Ninja, Mischka has known the brave male to be stubborn and determined. If something drives him to succeed, he won't let anything stop him from reaching his goal, not even death. It's clear that's what helped him survive the agonizing trek home. Ninja is not like other meerkats, especially now that he has a family to live for. He's determined to survive for them, so he can help Linda protect and mentor their pups. Ninja's outstanding willpower impresses Mischka, making him respect the remarkable meerkat more than ever. Knowing he's driven by the determination to pull through his ordeal for his family, Mischka's hopes sky rocket. No, Ninja's not gonna die, he's going to make it through this! He just has to for his mate and children! He's sure Ninja will survive!

Once inside the burrow, John and Root escort Ninja to his and Linda's chamber. There... he was safe now. They carefully help Ninja lay down, as they didn't want him to collapse and cause even more agony for himself. But he was safe and sound. The next several weeks would be the real test of Ninja's willpower and determination to survive. He had a family to look after. John feels confident Ninja would pull through. He endured the long, agonizing walk home. If he can endure that, he can survive through this. Root feels the same, but as the same time, still was worried.

Petal watched as John and her brother help Ninja into the burrow. Remembering what took place during the mob's absence, she knew Aliya and Duke had to be informed of what Kamaria did. She looks over at the new grave which was made for the pup which had died. If only she could talk! She sighed. Maybe if she showed them the grave, they could get some of it... Walking over to the dominants, she nudges Aliya a little to get her attention before looking over at the new grave that was near the two graves of the two deceased pups of Linda and Ninja. Hopefully Aliya would understand a death had occurred during the revenge mission she had led most of the group to.

Linda whimpers and helps Ninja into the burrow. She's forgotten about the murder of one of Kumi's pups and the injury of the other, and all her focus now is on her mate, who seems to be slipping from them.

Ninja nods, grateful for John, Root and Linda's help. Now that he's surrounded by the secure presence of the group and substantial burrow walls, he can finally get some much needed rest without having to worry about being attacked by predators. He'll certainly be confined to the burrow for the next several days, maybe even weeks if his recovery process is slow. His wounds will need constant disinfecting and he'll need to be served pray by the group. But having proven he has the outstanding willpower to live, he'll survive this harrowing ordeal, he's confidant he can pull through this! He just needs to hold on to that willpower for his family and this group which he immensely cares for.

Ninji is back to exploring the burrow tunnels. She had lost her nerve up at the entrance, not yet having the guts to make a premature emergance above ground. For now, she's deciding to stick with going on adventures in the burrow complex.

Linda lets Ninja lean on her for support. She remembers how much help he gave her when she was pregnant, and this is the least she can do. She sighs in a stressed, anxious way. She doesn't want him to die. She can't live without him!

Ninja senses Linda's distress and attempts to comfort her with some tender grooming. Even though he's feeling debilitatingly woozy, he makes sure to put enough effort in his "massage" to help soothe some of her anxiety. He reassures her he'll pull through this. His willpower to survive is strong. He promises not to leave her for a VERY long time. He's determined to make sure he'll be there to witness their pups growing up by her side. He loves her dearly, which fuels his willpower to live more than ever.

Aliya turns around and looks at Petal as she nudges her. For a moment she looks at her confused. But, as she shows her the place that Ninja and Linda had buried their pups. She approaches the grave, noticing loose dirt in a third spot. She freezes and turns around, her heart immediately sunk. Someone in the group had lost their life today. She peeps softly, trying to hide the immediate sadness and frustration. W-what happened?

Suri hears Aliya peeping questioningly and looks over, surprised to see her standing where Ninja and Linda's pups had been buried. She watches for a moment, confused when the leader questions Petal.

Emzio looks around, not having noticed Aliya's sudden confusion. She watches the birds. She envyed them sometimes. They didn't wage wars with themselves or have to stay on the ground all the time...

Seeing Petal gesture over to where 2 of Linda and Ninja's pups are layed to rest, Mischka's stomach churns painfully as he watches Aliya follow her to the graves. His heart sinks knowing what's coming. Aliya's heart is going to be shattered when she's informed that a precious pup had been killed today by someone in the Jumaa's ranks. Mischka treads over to the graves, reluctant but needing to tell her what tragic event had occured here while she and the others were off fighting the Midnights.

Conker watches questioningly as the adults begin compiling at the graves of Linda and Ninja's pups. He notices there's a third grave. What!? Has someone died while they were away? How and who!?

Saffron is confused when she sees the adults gathering at the tiny grave yard. They seem so flustered. What's going on? When one of the adults moves, she catches a glimpse of there being a third grave. Her heart sinks when it becomes clear someone had died while they were fighting in Midnights territory.

John leaves the chamber to let Linda and Ninja be alone. He knew he could completely trust Linda in taking care of her injured mate. He emerages slowly, noticing some of the members were gathering near the small graveyard. He suddenly saw... a third grave?! It looked new... Someone died while the group was gone!? Worried, he ran over.

Root follows John. He knew Ninja was in good paws. Linda was his mate after all... She'd do whatever she could to help him. Once out of the burrow, he looks around. He then sees the new grave and his heart felt as if it stopped. He saw Aliya was questioning his sister. He ran over, worried. What had happened while the group had gone off?!

Petal gazes down, whining softly. The mute teen wished she could tell Aliya what had happened. She looks at Mischka as he came over, knowing he would be able to tell the dominant female. She held back the urge to cry. Remembering she was the one who made the grave for Kumi's pup and tasting its blood was painful for her. She awaited for Mischka to explain who had been killed and who was responsible.

Mischka gazes at the ground glumy for a few moments, his downcasted eyes flood with tears as he remembers witnessing Petal digging the grave for the poor little infant. He looks up slowly, making eye contact with Aliya. He fights off the urge to cry so he could inform the leader of the tragic news. K-Kamaria murdered one of Kumi's pups to ensure her litter's chances of survival. We stopped her from killing the rest of Kumi's litter but we were too late to save that one pup. She had badly injured another pup. It's uncertain whether it'll survive or not Mischka drops his head forward, feeling miserable.

Duke is already by his mate's side and listens to Mischka's explaination. One tragedy after another, and this time it was a betrayal from one of their own.

Linda helps Ninja lay down in the chamber, urging him to rest.

Shallow comes out of the burrow noticeing all the new faces, he now knows there not gonna attack him though he wonders were they all were.

Ninja thanks Linda with a loving nuzzle before resting his back against the chamber wall. He makes himself comfortable, knowing he's going to be layed up in here for a while.

Mischka is over whelmed by misery. First, the Midnights killed 2 of Ninja and Linda's pups last week, then Kamaria betrays the Jumaa by killing a defenseless pup who didn't deserve such injustice earlier today, now the group faces the prospect that Ninja could die. He whines, while scraping his claws against the sand in anger. The Jumaa don't deserve all this cruel suffering!

Linda whimpers and lays down next to him, deeply worried that she'll lose Ninja. The Midnights will pay! They've almost killed her, they HAVE killed two of their pups, and now they may succeed in killing her beloved mate. She's unaware though that the one that attacked him was of her own bloodline, Bravo.

Ninja insists Linda he'll be fine. He's adamant to pull through this life threatening ordeal, for her and their children. The road to recovery will no doubt be filled with uncertainty but he isn't going to let that discourage him. He WILL survive! Feeling a wave of dizziness over come him, Ninja grunts in discomfort, dropping his head to the floor. He fights the urge to slip into unconciousness, fearful that he may never wake up. He has the urgency to inform Linda the culprit responsible for nearly killing him is her own brother, Bravo, but he's so weak, he barely has the energy to even open his mouth, and he's reluctant to upset her more than she already is. When she finds out Bravo is the attempted murderer, it'll shatter her heart.

Aliya's heart sinks upon hearing the news.... Both Kumi and Kamaria were her sisters. She wasn't sure what to do. She had allowed both Kumi and Kamaria to bear pups without any consiquences... Now she realised that two of Kumi's pups had payed the price. She looks sorrofully towards Kumi and turns to Kamaria, still unsure of what to do. (is she still with the group?) She had dealt with this issue in the past by evicting the offender, but now that it was her sister in question, she was reluctant, unsure of the punishment she should hand out.

Suri finally notices the third grave and her heart immediatelt sinks. Upon hearing that it was in fact Kamaria who was the culprit also added to the shock. She obsevs Aliya's blank expression, waiting to see what she would do...

Emzio is still watching the birds and hasn't noticed the tension between the other members.

(Kumi? Yeah, she's still in the group.0

Unaware of the attention that the loss of her third pup is getting, Kumi was still below ground tending to her injured pup.

Romeo saw the third grave and felt his legs weaken. How many losses did the Jumaa had to face? Was this going to keep happenng until they were all wiped out? His heart broke for the pup and the two buried alongside it.

Brian stood away. After hearing what had happened, he felt as if that battle with the Midnights only did more harm than good. It left one adult male and one small pup terribly injured and one pup dead.

ooc: Karmaria is with the group too.

Saffron freezes up with horror when she over hears that Kamaria had killed one of the pups in cold blood while they were off exacting revenge on the Midnights. She doesn't understand why an adult she trusted, and seemed to be nuturing to pups, would commit such a heinous deed. Her wide with shock, beady eyes trail over to Kamaria, a horrified and disbeliefed expression glazed on her face.

Conker is filled with disbelief and fury when he over hears that Karmia murdered a defenseless pup. How could she have done something so injust!? Neither does he know, or would understand, the reasons why she did it. He throws a scowl at Karmaria. He has the urge to rip her to pieces but refrains himself from lundging at her. He doesn't have the strength to engage in another fight, nor is it his business to serve her justice. That will be up to his mother.

Mischka looks from Aliya to Kamaria, directing a scowl at her before trailing his eyes back to Aliya. He believes Kamaria should be punished for commiting a cold blooded deed. He's fueled by anger built up from all the terrible things being thrown at the Jumaa recently, so he's pretty much reached his breaking point and has the urge to punish Kamaria himself. But he holds back and waits to see what Aliya does since this is a situation that demands her verdict.

ooc: Kusuma, do you plan to keep Stargazers role play up? I've decided to return and RP there . If not I plan to move a few charries from there to here and Linklu.

John's eyes widen as he heard what Mischka told Aliya and Duke. He understood it must of been Kamaria's instincts that caused her to commit such a heartless act. However, it doesn't prevent him from giving her a glare and a small growl of disappointment. It was hard to resist those urges... But it was just as bad since Kamaria had killed one of her nieces/nephews and horribly injured another. That injured one, if it survived, would face a life of permanent complications and could even be paralyzed for life. No one deserved that. Adult or pup, it did not matter.

Root is also horrified. How could anyone do such a thing?! This group was still recovering from Linda and Ninja's two pups having been killed, but now a third pup was murdered. And by its own aunt! He looks at Kamaria, his expression showed his disappointment in her and showed some doubt. Could she be trusted around other pups now?

Petal kept her eyes to the ground, not wanting to witness any punishment Kamaria was going to receive and also she didn't want to see the hateful glares or anything she was getting from everyone else.

Linda sighs and starts to tend to Ninja's wounds. She feels helpless, unable to stop death if it decides to claim her mate. She can only watch and wait.

Ninja winces as his wounds stung at first from Linda touching them, but becomes less tense as the burning subsides. While Linda tends to his injuries, he gets some rest to build up the strength he'll need to win the fight to survive.

Mischka lowers his head, while maintaining eye contact with Kamaria, and sighs in disappointment. Like the other babysitters, he trusted her to protect and nurture the pups. But instead, she sneakily went and mercilessly killed one of Kumi's children then badly injured another. He understands she was going by her maternal instincts, but still...it was completely heartless, especially since it was commited against her own blood relative. Mischka shakes his head, feeling betrayed and mistrustful of Kamaria. This cold hearted act could ban her from babysitting and potentially from the group.

Aliya begins walking towards Kamaria, still not sure what to do with her sister. Either way, she would be punished. (I'll wait for Stormy to reply before I do anything. She could also let me know as to what she wants me to do...)

Suri watches Aliya nervously. Would she evict her sister? Simply give her a beating? She had these questions in her mind. Either way, Kamaria wouldn't come out of this unpunished.

Emzio has finally caught up with the tention and looks around confused. She sees Aliya walking over to Kamaria. She isn't sure what the initial intentions are and keeps watching.
