Roleplay- 4th of January

That would be me. Aliya stepped forward. I'm Aliya, I'm the dominant female of the Jumaa. What brings you two to our territory?

John watches Aliya interact with Orkid and Katina, hoping she would accept the two in. They needed a home!

Root and Petal also watched.

Orkid squeaked fearfully and fell to the ground submissively.. I'm s...s...sorry! we..we were tr...trying to escape our old group! Thats all! We don't mean..an..any h..harm!

Katina growled softly and crouched low to the ground

Kinkajou watched and smiled sympathetically..she glanced at Aliya and sighed..

Knowing the moment has arrived for Aliya to decide Orkid and Katina's fates, Ninja turns to notice the leader interacting with them and watches, completely nonchalant. Aliya has a heart of gold and he's learned she's a dominant who rarely turns away newcomers, especially ones who are need like Orkid and Katina. He trusts she won't make that heartless judgement. He anticipates Aliya will accept them into the mob without any problems.

Ninji takes notice of the 2 new meerkats and tips her head to the side, curious. She's never seen those meerkats before. Who are they?

Seeming satisfied the two mean no harm, Aliya scent marks them both. Then I welcome you both to the Jumaa.

John grinned. He knew she wouldn't turn the two away! She never had turned any female away before.

Root and Petal both look relieved as Aliya accepted the two in the family.

Comet, exhausted, went to lie down in the shade... A trek through the desert is not something he's quite used to yet with his injured leg, and it may be a while before he is.

Ponda squeals in excitement and runs in circles. Yay, they were accepted! he then runs up to one of the females and touches noses with her.

Fly is nowhere to be seen...

As for Layla, she paws at Kamaria's pups curiously. Dipstick peeps... What was that? She gives up on trying to get someone to feed her and decides to investigate this stranger...

ooc: Aliya reminds me of some combination of Lilifey and Pancake. ^^

Backstaff feels Layla's paws on his head. He peeps curiously and starts sniffing Layla. The slightly older pup's fur is not much longer than Dipstick's; it might even be equally short. He chrrs at Layla and then at Dipstick.

ooc: Yeah she does X3

Ninja smiles in satisfaction as Katia and Orkid were accepted into the mob. Like John, he knew the kind-hearted Aliya wouldn't reject the 2 meerkats in need.

Ninji feels excited when Aliya accepts Katia and Orkid into the mob. She's eager to get to know the 2 females and hopes to befriend them in the process.

((OOC: Hehe, well, from how Meerkats portrayed her, Aliya is a compassionate leader and treats everyone fairly. I just do my best to portray that myself. ^^))

ooc: Yep, that's true :3 You're doing an excellent job at playing her

Phoebe does feel a bit comforted by her father's touch. She sniffs, looking up when she heard a peep and spots Root running over with some of the forging party with him. She looks relieved, and slowly calms herself. She also feels happy as Aliya accepts Orkid and Katina in. Yay, now they were in a loving family! No more getting hurt! She giggles as she watches her half brother. Despite sustaining brain damage, he can still act like any normal pup.

Ooc: Sorry everyone, been away from this mob and I'm a little lost. Can someone give a quick briefing so I can renter the Jumaa with some idea of what's going on? XD

ooc: That's okay Kusuma. Here's what happened: Some of the members got seperated from the mob, some of which were aiding Comet while others got lost trying to find the missing meerkats. They just reunited with the rest of the group. Orkid and Katia were accepted into the group.

Orkid churred softly and groomed Aliya in thanks..

Katina smiled as the young pup touched noses with her..she churred softly at Aliya and then glanced around..

Sunbeam churred and looked at Aliya

Kinkajou smiled and peeped, welcoming them..

Ooc: Thanks Yoshkat.

Bic: Ajia just watched the newcomers closely. The Jumaa seemed to have gained a lot of new members since coming onto this land.

Aliya accepts the grooming and grooms Orkid back, removing some unwanted sand and dirt from the young female's injuries, while also carefully grooming the injuries as well. The poor things.

Conker walked over Aliya then groomed the Orkid.Conker Smiles at them he's happy today.Saffron Follows Conker and grooms Orkid as well

One who's not afraid to try anything or meet anyone new, Ninji bravely runs up to Orkid and Katia, greeting them with an amiable smile. She hopes they can become friends.

Ninja approaches Katia and Orkid, offering his help with sanitizing Orkid's wounds. He feels deep sympathy for the 2 females. They've been through a terrible ordeal, one of which they didn't deserve to endure. They're very lucky to have come across the Jumaa, because in this kind-hearted mob, there's a 0 tolerance policy when it comes to a member being tormented or physically abused. If anyone has the nerve to commit a callous act toward another, they'll be kicked out in a heart beat.

Aliya continued to groom Orkid, hoping to bring her some relief.

Root and Petal also come over to help. Petal began to groom Katina with Root helping.

John stays in his spot, keeping an eye out for predators or anything else that could be a threat.

Katina smiled lightly at the two teenagers, she nuzzled Petal's side thanfully..

Orkid churred with delight and nuzzled up against Aliya..

Kinkajou grinned softly, then began to forage again

Ninja would go from grooming Orkid to grooming Katina in a pattern every minutes, concentrating on removing dirt and sand from their wounds than focusing on removing parasites. He wants to ensure the risk of them developing an infection is slim.

Ninji follows the adults' example and helps with grooming Orkid, and thus of being an unskilled month old pup, fails to do it effectively. However, it doesn't stop her from trying.

Orkid churred softly and then sprawled onto the sand, careful not to get any dirt or sand in her wounds..

Katina groomed Ninja back thankfully

Kinkajou looked at the sky warily, she then continued foraging

Sunbeam was on her back, playing with a piece of grass..

Ponda spots Sunbeam playing with a piece of grass and grins, going over to play as well. After swatting at some grass a couple of times, he finds a stick and starts chewing on it...

Comet starts digging... Again, near a bolthole, so that if there's a predator he can get away safely... Out in the open his is very vulnerable and it's unlikely he'd escape.

Ouija was foraging alone, digging vigorously at the base of a camelthorn tree- he was hot on the trail of a scorpion, seeking refuge in its "safe" den, but not for all the much longer. Bulldozing into the beige sand, Ouija soon retracted from the hole with a large scorpion in his mouth; quickly, he began to eat it hungrily.

Ninja gingerly grooms a wound etched in Katina's back, careful not to cause her discomfort.

Ninji takes notice of Ponda and Sunbeam playing around with various things on the ground and giggles. She runs over and begins immitating them by swatting at a blade of grass.

Sunbeam giggled and swatted at Ponda playfully...

Kinkajou looked up and watched Sunbeam, Ponda and Ninji play..she smiled and then continued foraging

Katina churred softly at Ninja and then smiled, she began to watch the pups and she smiled..

Orkid smiled lightly and then surveyed the area..
