Roleplay - 6th of September, 2009

Tisca sees Faeya and chirps happily.
Stratus swished his tail uneasily. They couldn't all stay back. He enters the burrow and chirps to the females.

After seeing all the females in the burrow, Faeya decides to instead join the foragers.

Clover looks at Stratus. She wasn't a good fighter anyway.

With the last of her patience quickly slipping away, Morning Glory stood on her hind legs and was about to start barking lead calls when she spotted a few meerkats in the near distance. Hard to distinguish how many with their head's bobbing in and out of the grass but there was definitely someone out there. Was it a rover? Or even worse The Willows!

Leaf yawned and laid spread out on the sand. We would have left already if I was in charge...

Feeling the patter of the ground around him, Sanders bolted upright and began to squeak hoping Leaf had returned with another helping of breakfast.

Badru blinked at Sanders and turned away with narrowed eyes.

Feeling another pup’s tail swish near her nose, the smallest pup in Leaf’s litter jumped in shock and quickly huddled up hoping to keep out of the rough and tumble.

Ooc: I don’t mind playing the other unnamed pup, could I give her a name? Unless anyone else wants her?

Faeya stood guard near the burrow, ready to protect her family. Nimbus tried to get higher ground on a tree.

ooc: I could help you find a name! =O I do want to adopt it, but I'm trying to limit how many I adopt per litter.

ooc: I don't mind who takes the pup, so if you want it, Maybelline, then you can have it.

bic: Tisca exited the burrow, not sure whether to go foraging or not. She soon spotted what Morning Glory had, and stood alert, worried on what it was.
Stratus growled, peering into the bushes.
Cloud Catcher sat up, intruiged.

occ: Ok, I leave it with Pancake for the time being as I don't think they'll be many pups in MG's litter.

Yawning again, Leaf sat up and watched Morning Glory bark warning calls to the rest of the group. Raising her head she looked for the predator...nothing, only a clear Kalahari sky. Still feeling relaxed she wandered over to Faeya unaware of the approaching danger.

ooc: Also when do you want us to switch to the Willows board?

Cheyenne caught sight of a group in the distance. She chirped at her mate Chris. he stopped what he was doing and together, marched towards the group.

Clover panicked and ran off in a random direction. (she'll run into the willows. Trying to complicate things, lol...)

Catching the sight of young Clover go darting into scrub, Morning Glory gave a proud smile and sprang into action. On all fours she began rocking back and forth, signalling the start of the wardance..Whoever or whatever was out there wasn’t going to get through her this morning.

Panicking at the sight of Morning Glory and fretting about the safety of her pups, Leaf sniffed at Faeya trusting her with the safety of the pups and bolted to join in the wardance.

ooc: I will adopt the pup, I decided.

bic: It isn't long before Clover is no longer in sight, she has reached the Willows by now...

Chris and Cheyenne followed the strange meerkat.

ooc: I don't want anyone following her. They won't be able to track her, that's how I wanted to make it.

Cheyenne changes direction and Chris follows, not knowing they are going to the main group.

ooc: I think you can switch to the Willows section now.

bic: Stratus followed Morning Glory, starting up a war-dance.
Tisca and Cloud Catcher followed his lead. Even though Cloud Catcher wasn't really old enough to fight, there was no way he was staying at home.

Badru senses the others leave, and shows the tiniest smile. He heads over to his sibling Sanders. His intentions were not to play.

Sanders felt Badru’s approach and jumped at him ready for his brother's attack.

Giving a final check, Morning Glory waited for all the family before rushing out into the grass. Gathering the group had taken far longer then she had anticipated and the distance between them and Clover was now quite significant.

ooc: I meant that it was more of an aggressive approach... lol.

ooc: lol my bad tweaked for you pancake

ooc: Thanks... I'm thinking of a name for the other pup. Maybe Chetana, not sure yet.

bic: Badru snarls and nips Sanders again.

Taking his brother's nip, Sanders raised his front paws to retaliate. This round belongs to me he growled throwing what little weight he had against his brother hoping to at least pin him down.

Badru stood stiff, trying to resist his sibling's defense.
