Roleplay - 6th of September, 2009

Fareya and Nimbus followed the others, hoping to defeat the Willows and rescue their familly!

Seeing that Badru wasn’t going to be a pushover, Sanders changed his tactics and went after trying to bite at his brother’s tail. I’m going to win one way or another

ooc: Has Scar been left to watch the pups? lol

Chetana glanced at her siblings who were fighting. She thought they should stop.

Badru slammed his side into Sanders as hard as a pup his size could. He would always be there to start it again, even in failure.

ooc: I forgot about Scar XP I suppose he is.

bic: Chester Quavers watched her siblings, and sat by Chetana.

Chetana sighed, and looked around warily.

Squealing in excitement, Sanders slumped to the floor with Badru. Raising his head he gave his brother a very gentle nip and collapsed exhausted. Ok, it’s a draw… he panted.
Smiling happily he was glad he had brother.

Badru nodded, realizing he had probably done a wrong thing. He gives his brother a small nuzzle before lying down.

Hastily arriving back at the baby sitting burrow, Leaf and Tisca bolted underground to find Scar and pups. Praying they were still alive and well they searched for them in the darkness.

Chetana shifted uneasily.

Badru lifted his head.

Following the pups soft squeaks, Leaf poked her head into the sleeping chamber and loving nuzzled close to Badru. She knew moving newborns was a costly risk but one she was willing to take to save them from the jaws of Buckeye. Issuing the decisive call to start the burrow move, the three adults picked up a pup each by the scruff of their necks and took them up towards the surface in hope that the rest of the family had made it back safely.

Ooc: Pancake I’ll let you decide which adult has saved which of your pups.

Feeling the movements around him, Sanders awoke and began to call out for his siblings.

Faeya rushes into the burrow, seeing what she can do.

Nimbus watches from the burrow, chirping to let the group know that they still had time.

ooc: I think I want Chetana to somehow end up at the Zippers while she's still under 3 weeks. idk is this is the right time. We can say that Leaf picked up Badru, I guess???

ooc: ok Pancake It's a long walk across Oreo/Midnight territory but i'm sure we could get them to meet up with the Zippers for you.

Overjoyed to see Faeya and Nimbus at the burrow entrance, Leaf tentatively scanned the surrounding area. Anxiously shaking and refusing to put down Badru, Leaf spotted an adult meerkat slowly walking through the bushes and made a bolt for it in a Westerly direction.
Three pups were better than none and there wasn’t any chance that she was going to stick around to take another beating from a meerkat that could possibly be fearsome Buckeye.

Battered, hungry and much stressed Morning Glory paced slowly through the grass. The morning’s events had been a total disaster and were looking likely to get worse.

ooc: Alright. (And should Splash still meet up with Morning Glory?)

ooc: sure, MG is on the wander back to the burrow and i'll probably leave her there to help you integrate the plot with Splash joining.

Cloud Catcher hasn't returned yet.
Tisca held onto her pup tightly, but was careful not to hold too tight.
Stratus walked with Morning Glory, keeping a careful eye out.

A female meerkat appears. Pamela walks from behind a bush and starts walking towards the mob...

Morning Glory caringly rubbed her head against Stratus as the pair walked back to the burrow. She was ever so glad to have his support at such a critical time. Smelling the family scent on the stems of the nearby grasses raised her spirits enough to keep her paws walking within a few meters of their goal.

Leaf continued to march with tiny Badru still dangling from his scruff. Amazed that she had somehow gained such a large portion of the group, finding a new temporary burrow for the family might now be easier then she had anticipated. Pfft..who needs Morning Glory

Sanders sat alone in the darkness and let out a tiny lonely mew..Where’d everybody go?

Stratus nuzzled Morning Glory back.
Tisca paused, hearing Sanders squeal. She was unaware of Pamela's approach.
Cloud Catcher was nearby. He had found Splash's body, but was unsure what to do about it. He cried out for his family.

Her family was no where nearby. But Splash stirred...

Cloud Catcher saw Splash move, and chirped worriedly. He nudge her gently, encouraging her to get up.

Pamela walks closer until she stops. She didn't want to get to close in case they attacked her.

Ooc: Sanders isn’t with Leaf’s group he got left behind when they saved the two females and Badru. I think Leaf, Tisca, Scar, Faeya, Nimbus and 3 pups are in the main group with Pamela. Morning Glory, Stratus, Cloud Catcher, Sanders and soon Splash are in the temporary smaller splinter back at the Willows burrow. I hope that’s everyone.

Finally reaching the baby sitting burrow, Morning Glory searched around for any sign of the other adults. Seeing the recent claw marks in the sand she headed down underground. Maybe she was too late?

Worried and very much concerned she sniffed about the lonely, dark spaces. Blaming herself for giving Leaf an opportunity, her ears pricked up at the muffled mewing of a tiny pup somewhere in the depth of the burrow. A small sign of life was the second best news she’d had on this awful start to the day.

Overjoyed, Sanders squealed in delight that somebody had answered his calls.


Still focused on finding a new burrow, Leaf looked up and spotted Pamela in the near vicinity. Worried that Morning Glory had caught up with them, she kept a low profile and didn’t raise the alarm. Not putting down Badru was more important then looking for a fight.

Glad to be away from Willows territory, Nimbus watched as Leaf led the group to a safer burrow in their territory.

Faeya helped carry the pups, eager to escape the danger. She was still worried about the fate of the others. Hopefully, they would make their way toward them...

Splash tries to stand up, but she can't seem to move her injured leg... She may have to limp.
