Roleplay-10th of July 2009

Stripe followed, and lay down in the shade for a quick nap. She was exhuasted. She tried to stay awake to keep an eye out, but it wasn't long before she had dozed off.

Running Star briefly dug for a quick snack. She ate the small beetle she found, and resumed watching for danger.

Stripe was still asleep when Running Star got up. Suddenly she leapt up, calling wildly. She stopped and looked around. It was just a dream... nothing to be afraid of. She sat down and sighed with relief.

Running Star, seeing no danger, wanted to head back to the burrow, so she started giving lead calls.

Stripe jumped up and followed Running Star. She was happy to be heading home, she was begining to get a bit tired.

Sorry that not much has been going on over here.

As they headed back home, two meerkats trailed behind. The oldest was called Wagner (pronounced VARG-ner), and the younger called Vardi, and they were rovers from the Wild Mobs. They kept to the bushes, not wanting to get seen just yet. Wagner peered out of the bushes, watching Running Star and Stripe. He followed them stealthily, while Vardi followed them not so stealthily.

Running Star was so happy to be close to her home that she did not notice the rovers. As she arrived, she was filled with relief. She was quite tired, and wanted nothing more than to relax together with her new group. As each day passed, she felt grateful that she was no longer alone and could relax a bit more.

Stripe was just about to follow Running Star when she noticed the two rovers. Unsure what to do, she sat there and watched them. Wagner and Vardi were also confused, and sat down and watched her.

Running Star noticed the hesitation of Stripe, looked in the direction she was facing, and saw the rovers. She studied them carefully, so as not to frighten them. She walked a few steps, then sat a bit ahead of Stripe. She waited for them to come closer before moving any closer.
