Roleplay- 23rd October

Josephine sat alone out the Willow's burrow and admired the sky. Thin, wispy clouds drifted at their own pace across the sea of pale blue. Flinching occasionally at the shadow of a small harmless bird, she remained vigilant in her watch for predators.

Linda gets off from her sentry post and starts foraging again, kicking sand in the air as she does so.

Bravo looks at Linda. Now's the time. They have to talk, and get caught up on what's happened. He chirps to Linda and they both walk to an area a little away from the mob but still in sight. They start chirping to eachother, talking about what's happened since their seperation.

Tank glanced down at the ground briefly as he caught Buckeye scent marking the group below in the bottom sight of his eyes. He quickly returns his stern gaze back to the skies to keep a look out for danger. Seeing Maylene go on gaurd makes Tank feel more comfortable. With more eyes scanning for danger, the sentries will have all 360 degree angles covered, making spotting danger in time to warn the group much easier.

Lancaster glances at the tunnel that leads to the burrow entrance thinking about heading above ground soon to spend time with Josephine and to search for food. For now he decides to spend a little more time with the pups. He nuzzles them as he keeps his body curled around them.

Linda and Bravo continue to talk to eachother, catching up with eachother's lives. A lot has happened since they last met when they were seperated.

Tank scans the horizon and as he does he notices Linda and Bravo spending time together. He smiles glad to see them reafirming their bond. It made him happy to see long lost relatives reunite alive and well.

Keeko scentmarked another bush.

Linda and Bravo return to the others, finished for now with catching up on eachother's lives, but Linda has her head down in sorrow, as she had learned some disturbing news about her birth mob from Bravo.

Bravo returns to sentry duty without a word. He knows the news he had brought to her must be heart breaking, but not telling her would have been worst.

ooc: What did happen? I want to know. xD

Tank sees Linda returning from her talk with Bravo with a frown on her face. He blinks curious to know what the private discusion was about. His starts to feel bad for Linda even though he's unaware that the talk was about the fate of Linda and Bravo's old mob. He just hated to see someone upset.

Luna frowns when she sees the mood that her friend is in. She pads over to her.

Tank leaps down from his sentry post and joins Luna in comforting Linda.

Luna grooms Linda, wondering what had happened.

Tank frowns and tilts his head to the side also curious.

Luna suddenly picks up the scent of another mob... she barks to alert buckeye and Keeko.

Linda keeps to herself. She's just learned her mother is dead. She's been dead for a while actually. The rest of the mob is doing well, though. Her father is still the DM and an unrelated female is the new DF. She forgets the thoughts when she hears an alarm and stands, looking in all directions for the threat.

Bravo hears the alert and looks around. He doesn't see or smell anything.

Tank jerks at the alarm. He raises up from sitting on his haunches and stands straight on his hind legs and tail. He sniffs at the air as he suddenly gets a whif of a rival group being in the area. He growls loudly. With precious pups back at the burrow an intruding rival group will not be tolerated.

Bravo soon smells a mob as well. He growls. He's ready to show the others what he's capable of in combat if needed. He stands firm, ready for battle if needed.

Linda starts to smell a mob too. She looks around, nervous. She hasn't fought in a full scale battle against a rival mob since her injury fighting the Midnights. She hopes they'll leave peacefully.

Tank can smell the rival group's scent in the wind. It's slightly stronger than when he smelled it in the still air. He swivels his head to the left then to the right. There's no sign of this rival group but Tank senses they must be at the border or have already crossed it. He worries for the pups and babysitters' safty back at the burrow. If the rival group come across the babysitting burrow things could turn tragic.

Unaware of the Midnights at the Willows border, Lancaster has joined Josephine above ground and is sitting next to her. The ski looks pretty today. He sighs in content as he watches the beautiful wispy clouds slowly move across the bright blue sky. The sound of the wind blowing through the vegetation is also relaxing.

Linda looks in the direction of the babysitting burrow. They can only hope the rivals aren't there or are planning on going there.

Bravo draws concerns for the pups that he hasn't met yet. They can't be everywhere at once, and it will be impossible to save the pups if the mob is already there.

Tank swallows nervously as he looks in the direction of the babysitting burrow. He hopes the rival group hasn't already reached the burrow.

Bravo gets down from his post. He feels they should go looking for the rivals instead of just waiting for them to come.

Linda barks, against that idea. They should move as a group and not scatter and make themselves vulnerable. She looks in all directions, expecting to see a mob along the horizon.

Tank peeps agreeing with Linda's decision. spliting up while a rival group is in the area is the worst thing you could do. If the rivals were to catch a Willow a stray from the group they won't hesistate to see the oppertunity to take out the opposition to increase their chances of winning a battle and/or to steal more land.

Keeko nudges Buckeye. He can smell a rival group.

Tank looks to Keeko and Buckeye waiting to see what their decision will be of how to deal with the intruding group.

keeko barks in alert as he spots the wardancing midnights.

Luna bolts up nd scans the area, her fur rigid. She didn't want to fight.
