Roleplay- 23rd October

Linda looks at the sky. It's getting late. She chirps to Tank, asking if he's well enough to follow them back.

Tank peeps softly. He'll try his best to keep up with the group once the time comes to head back. He'll just take his time so as to not cause the venom to spread faster through his body.

Linda looks down at the ground. She'll help him if he needs help. She looks at Buckeye, waiting for her to make the call. She's unware that Buckeye has mated and may be pregnant again, something that may be disasterous to her future in the mob, and her pup's lives.

Tank hunches over tucking his head in between his haunches. He decides to rest to gather up all the strength he'll need to be able to make it home while he waits for Buckeye to sound lead calls. He's also unaware that she has mated and what consequences it could bring for Linda and Luna and their pups.

Linda continues to sit by Tank. She's willing to stick behind and help him if he gets caught behind.

Bravo watches, still concerned.

Tank closes his eyes trying to block out the pain. He keeps his breathing and heart rate slow trying to slow the venom's progress through out his body as much as possible.

Linda watches Tank. He needs his rest. She stays by him, just incase something happens.

Seeing things start to calm down, Bravo turns his attention to watching for danger, but still keeps Tank in thought.

Tank chirps softly in response to the throbbing pain radiating from his snakebite wound. He tries to ignore it to get some rest.

Jackie watches Tank, sadly.

Snowflake also watches with concern.

Buckeye decides to lead the family home. They are weak and tired, so she needs to move fast. She keeps her contact calls strong, hoping they all stay close. She wants to get home to her pups.

Glade follows her mother, while Hutch stands guard over the troops.

Leon follows close behind Buckeye.

Megan trails after him with a spring in her step.

Tank lifts his head up and slowly gets to his feet. He winces as the snakebite wound starts to throb but he sucks up the pain follows after the group.

Maylene musters up the rest of her strength and follows close by in the middle of the group, not wanting to fall behind and get lost.

Linda hears the call and gets moving. She stays next to Tank, giving him some company as he soldiers on.

Bravo hears the call and gets moving. Confident that Linda has things covered for Tank, he comes up to the front.

Tank hobbles along towards the back of the group. He keeps his movements slow and lowers his breathing and heart rate but walks at a pace where he is keeping up with the group.

Linda sticks next to Tank. They're falling behind, and she really should keep up with the others for safety. She chirps to Tank, asking if he's good on his own. She wants to stay with him for support, but her own safety may be at risk.

Despite needing the support to be able to keep up with the group and stay safe, Tank decides against it and peeps to Linda letting her know he'll be fine. His side is now unbarably painful and he's starting fall further behind but Tank is stubborn. He refuses assistance believing he'll be able to make it home on his own. But as he pushes himself to keep up by moving faster he's also causing the venom to spread quicker through out his body, making his already weakened condition worsen.

Jackie and Snowflake follow.

Linda nods in agreement and starts picking up the pace, rejoining the others. She trots alongside Bravo.

Tank walks with a forward limp as the throbbing pain spreads from his side into his front leg.

Linda nudges Bravo as they walk along. What he told her before the battle is still fresh in thought, and she's still saddened from it.

Tank grunts and winces as the pain worsens. He must keep going but the effects of the puff adder venom has axcelerated. The last of Tank's strength leaves his body through another step forward and he collapses, too weak to continue on. He's fallen dangerously behind and the group is almost out of his view. He tries to call out to them but all that ends up coming out of his mouth is a barely audible peep. He lays on his left side and helplessly watches the group disappear over a sand dune.

Linda remains next to Bravo, failing to notice Tank falling behind. She's too caught up in recent news.

Bravo also fails to notice Tank as he moves alongside his younger sister.

Tank whimpers then lays his head back down on the ground. He looks around with his eyes at the darkening Kalahari landscape. At the start it looked like Tank's chances of survival were going to be 50/50 but now that he has become seperated from the Willows his chances of survival are starting to look grim. If he continues to lay here he'll be picked off by a night time predator but he's just too weak to move. Even breathing is becoming a struggle. It looks like Tank may not be able to survive the night.

Linda is still oblivious to the situation as he dissappears from her sight range.

Bravo peeps to Linda, reassuring her that everything's alright. Their birth mob was doing well the last he'd seen them despite the loss of their leader, and the Willows have just defeated the Midnights.
