Roleplay- 23rd October

ooc- Some mobs are behind, so I'm not sure.

ooc- seriously, if Pancake doesn't come back then I'll gladly take the pup, but thats probably three pups then. I think they're all girls though.

ooc: You'll have to ask for permission if you could take over Pancake's pup if she's not back by the time the pups are born. And 3 pups surviving is better than none. It's inevidible that eventually a pup or more than one pup will be killed out of a full litter, especially if there's another pregnant female in the group that may want to increase her pups' chances of survival and if it's the dry the season. They're more vulnerable to predators, disease and starvation.

ooc- I have that one Meerkat Manor book, and in the back it has a list of 17 or so litters and the meerkats within those litters, and of them, only 6 of those litters had it where they all lived to adult/near adult age. None of them survived in at least 1 litter, and that's just selected litters they chose to write down. Let's please not start an arguement.

ooc: I agree. I don't want this to turn into an arguement so we'll just get back to role playing.

Lancaster's closed eyes tighten and he starts to whimper. He's dreaming about watching his brother suffer from the effects of the puff adder bite.

Linda starts to dream about her pups again, until this time it's more pleasant. Ever since she was a young teenage meerkat she's loathed for pups of her own, and now she's going to be a mom.

Lancaster digs his claws into the burrow floor whilst chirping in slight distress. His nightmare dream is becoming more vivdly horrifying only this time it's changed to a scene where he's confronted with a puff adder that is twice his size in height and width. Just as it strikes at him, Lancaster wakes up. He looks around the burrow with his heart rate and breathing rithym racing. Lancaster sighs relieved that it was only a dream, but it felt so real. He lays his head back down but is too shaken up by the dream to fall back to sleep.

Awoken by Lancaster’s thrashing about Josephine opens her eyes and chips to him. As he places his head back on the ground she caringly rests her head on him hoping to reassure him that they were safe.

Feeling a head lay on his back, Lancaster glances over his shoulder to see Josephine there comforting him. He smiles and nuzzles her while letting out a soft relaxed churr. Her warm presence has suddenly chased away all of his worries. Lancaster lays his head back down feeling more relaxed. He gets back to sleep.

Both Linda and Bravo are undisturbed by the noise, and remain asleep.

ooc: Only give Snicker a few scratches if you attack him.

bic: Snowflake and Jackie sleep on peacefully.

ooc: random fact, but I saw a street called Lancaster the otherday.

bic: Golly Gosh curled up by his siblings.
Miley and Crash soon drifted asleep.

ooc- The Lancaster was a british WWll bomber as well. And okay Meerkats.

ic- Linda sleeps soundly, her dreams about her pups starting to spill into a dream about Ninja.

ooc: Cool. There's a small city called Lancaster near where I live and it's also in a county called Lancasterx)

Lancaster starts to go into a dream state once again only this time the dream is much more pleasant. He dreams about him and Josephine snuggling up to each other in a feild of devil's thorn flowers and enjoying the sights and sounds of the Kalahari spring.

Linda dreams of being snuggled up against Ninja in a warm burrow. She wakes up and looks around. It wasn't real. She gives a disappointed sigh and gets back to sleep.

Lancaster smiles and churrs passionately in his sleep. This beautiful dream has made him forget about all of his worries.

Linda sleeps soundly.

Bravo flinches in his sleep, recalling his first roving trip. There was a lot of running that day.

Buckeye snuggles in with the rest of her family. Glade snuggles in with her mother and new siblings.

Linda remains asleep, still unware that Buckeye might be pregnant again. It might spell disaster for her own litter.

Bravo smiles in his sleep, still dreaming of his first roving trip.

Lancaster's dream is so vivid that he actually feels like he's really there and starts to nuzzle Bravo's cheek as he nuzzles the dream Josephine's cheek.

Bravo wakes up, feeling something. He sees Lancaster and moves away from him.

ooc: Aww I love Lancaster he's so cute <3

ooc: I knowX3 I'm having second thoughts about killing him off. He's just too adorable to kill off<3

Lancaster snaps out of his dream and looks around confused. He was just in a feild of beautiful devil's thorn flowers and now he's in a burrow suddenly. What happened? He notices Bravo moving away from him a bit disturbed and realizes that it was just a dream. An embarrassed smile spreads across his face as he suddenly realizes that it was Bravo he was nuzzling and not Josephine.

Bravo stares at lancaster strangely and gets back to sleep.

Lancaster lowers his head feeling slightly awkward. He shakes off the feeling so he can get back to sleep.
