Roleplay- 23rd October

Lancaster's eyes force open. He just can't sleep. He rests his chin on his arm and sighs as his thoughts are still heavy with the recent tragic events that have unfolded on the Willows mob over the past week. The group has already lost 2 members and now Tank has become the next victim to fall prey to the Kalahari. The Willows have been the most successful out all of the other groups this winter until now. Fortunes can quickly change in the harsh Kalahari.

Linda's whimpering in her sleep continue to grow until she jolts awake with a yelp, shaking. She's just had a terrible nightmare, one that may soon become a reality.

Bravo wakes up, having heard a noise. He looks around curiously, wondering what it was.

Lancaster jumps as he heard Linda yelp. He glanced at her with a look of curiosity, wondering if she was reacting to a bad dream.

Linda looks around the chamber. It was only a dream, but it was one that can happen. It wasn't about Tank. It was about her pups. About them being murdered the day they're born. She shifts herself closer to the wall and looks around.

Jackie falls to sleep slowly, worried about Tank.

Buckeye is the last to go below, hoping her group can find comfort in the night.

Lancaster gulps a nervous hard swallow as he looks at Linda's swollen belly. It won't be long until she delivers her pups into this harsh Kalahari. Luna killing Buckeye's pup Alice is still vivid in his memory and he worries anyone or all of Linda's pups could be in danger once they are born. Lancaster lets out an unsettled sigh as he lays his head back down. There's just so much on his mind for him to sleep.

Linda rests her head down. That's not something she needs to worry about now. Tank may still be out there, struggling to hold onto life. She lets out a deep breath and tries to go back to sleep.

Bravo tries to go back to sleep too. He's still confused over what the noise was. No one else seems to be worrying.

Lancaster stares at the burrow floor. He thinks about Maylene and the unborn pups his brother Tank fathered. Maylene is due to give birth soon and there could be a possibility that the pups may never get to know who their father was. Lancaster lets out a long depressed sigh. He imagines that Tank's disappearance must be hard on Maylene.

Bravo falls back asleep.

Linda, however, can't sleep. There's too many things on her mind. Tank, Ninja, her pups. She stares at her belly, unsure what to do. It's only a matter of time until her own pups are due, and there's threats at every corner. External, and internal. The stress of trying to raise a litter in her position at this time of year is weighing heavily on her.

Lancaster eyes Maylene with a mixed sense of emotions. He feels bad for her for having lost her mate but he also doesn't trust her. She doesn't appear to be effected by Tank's disappearance and she's the one who was one of the closest to him. She has proven to be unpredictable in the past and must be kept an eye on very closely, especially now that she's pregnant. Not only are her pups in danger of being killed but she also looks like the type that could endanger any of the other pregnant females' pups once they are born. Lancaster narrows his eyes at the sleeping Maylene. He'll be watching her when it comes to the time for the pregnant females to give birth.

Keeko stays near Buckeye.
Miley stays by her brother's side. Crash watches uneasily.
Golly Gosh was quieter than usual.

Lancaster lays his head in between his front limbs. He sighs still feeling restless.

Bravo stays asleep.

Linda finally succumbs to drowsiness and falls asleep. She has no idea how far she's willing to go to save her pups.

ooc- I was going to have Linda try to kill Maylene's pups when they're born, but ultimately fail, unless of course if anyone wants their pup killed.

ooc: I plan to have my pup killed but it'll be after she emerges. I'd like Linda to try to kill her though. The attack will leave her with a permenantly damaged back right leg.

Lancaster finally calms himself down enough to be able to sleep. He has emptied all bad thoughts from his mind for now but tomorrow will be very somber now that he no longer has his big brave littermate brother to be there by his side.

ooc- Fine by me.

ooc: You can attack Snicker too if you want. I don't plan on doing anything for him.

ooc- Injure or kill?

ic- Linda soon enters deep sleep as well. The day's events have drained all of her energy, and being pregnant, she needs to get a good night's sleep.

ooc- wait, why? I don't Maylene to only end up having one good pup. Please.

ooc- Aren't there four?

ooc: I just checked the Maylene and Tank's litter thread and it said that there are 5 pups. I'm killing mine off to make it seem more realistic since in some litters 1 out of 4 pups will be killed and during the winter dry season the chances of a pup being killed increases.

ooc- Okay then it's set.

ooc: I don't think Kusuma is planning to kill off her pup and I'm not sure what's going to happen to the pup Pancake adopted. Someone might have to take it over until she returns.

ooc- There's not really a need to rp a newborn pup. Also, I think we should start a new day soon.

ooc: True but just incase, Pancake's pup should probably be kept alive but if she doesn't return within another month then we can have it disperse. I have a feeling that the new day may start tomorrow or Sunday. I've noticed that the weekends is usually when they start.
