Roleplay- 15th of November

Bravo is also unaware, but he will soon find out.

Linda has finally caught her breath. She stares in the direction of the burrow. She will never forget or forgive herself for the terrible thing she has just done.

ooc: I actually didn't get to dance. It was more centered around the younger people at my school, and I sat on the sidelines. Bored. I was too afraid to make a move... xD

Lancaster rounds a bend and reaches the entrance to the pup chamber where Maylene had given birth. As he walks in he's greeted by a horrofying scene. there's traces of blood on the burrow floor and he sees Triscuit and Snickers laying unresponsive and bleeding from their nasty wounds on floor. Lancaster shrieks in shock and staggers backward out of the chamber feeling light headed from the traumic sight he had just scene. He then narrows his eyes suspecting that this was foul play. Both Linda and Luna are pregnant which means that this most likely was the work of one of them.

ic- Ariel runs to Lancaster, still frightened. She comes in to see the bleeding newborns and almost goes unconcious herself. She peeps to Lancaster in an afraid tone. Linda came in and attacked the pups, and Maylene tried to stop her! She doesn't understand what just happened, and is fearful because of that.

Lancaster nuzzles Ariel trying to comfort her. Hearing that Linda had done this, he becomes filled with rage but is then more overcome with dispair. Seeing how injured Snickers and Triscuit look, they may not survive until the end of the day. He knows why Linda did this. She was only following her strong maternal instincts but it's still tragic that it happened and to pups that were going to be his niece and newphew. He sighs depressingly wanting nothing to do with Linda at the moment. He feels that if he sees her he may cause her serious harm but not as much harm Tank my cause her when he discovers this. He'll be beyond livid...even murderously livid.

Linda starts to trek back to the foraging party, still unaware of the now dry blood surrounding her mouth.

Bravo eats a beetle, still unaware of what has happened. He will be furious when he finds out, furious enough to outright attack.

Ariel still doesn't calm down and leaves the chamber. She doesn't want to see anyone die, so she stops watching the bleeding young ones.

Maylene was filled with so much rage, but was glad that Luna hadn't tried to do this, but was even angrier that Linda had done this. Now she was basically whimpering, well crying because of the site of her poor little pups that Linda had attacked. Maylene then just laid down next to the both of them and just began to lick at their wounds and hoped that they'd survive.

Linda keeps walking. The long sprint has brought her close to the foraging party. She'll be there soon.

Bravo looks around, noticing Linda is missing. He shudders. There's a young litter of vulnerable pups at the burrow, and his pregnant sister is missing. This cannot be good.

Distrought by all this, Lancaster leans against the burrow wall and tucks his head into his tummy. He doesn't want to see the 2 pups die in front of his eyes and tries to avoid the scene. He wishes that this was a dream but unfortunately the events really happened.

Tank is also still unaware of the potentially fatal assault on his niece and nephew and continues to forage in a joyful mood. He's now a proud father of 5 and is enjoying it but unbeknownst to him it may be only 3 pups he'll have left to father. When he finds out, he won't be very happy, infact he'll violently livid.

Maylene especially licked Triscuit who looked and seemed to have the worst wound.

Linda spots the mob and approaches casually, but avoids Buckeye.

Bravo spots her return and watches wide-eyed as she passes, noticing the blood stain around her mouth which tells all. He stands too stunned to talk. He can't believe what she has done.

Triscuit comes to and whimpers softly. Her leg hurt so badly. She calms down as she feels her mother trying to nurse her wound.

Tank doesn't notice Linda approaching the mob and continues to forage. At the moment, his thoughts are on finding food.

Bravo's disbelief is overcome with rage and he barks to her louder than ever. What have you done?! He almost pushes her down as he shoves her.

Tank looks up as he heard Bravo's loud angry bark. He reacts with a bit of nervousness thinking that he had spotted a predator but there's nothing in sight to be concerned about. When he turns around, he sees Linda and the blood stain around her muzzle. His heart sinks. He immediately gets the gist of what Linda had been doing. Murdering his pups! Enraged, he let out a loud angry growl and sank his claws into the ground. His body starts to shake and his breath becomes heavy. How could she have done such a cold hearted deed!?!

Maylene's cries still came out, but they had stopped a little when she heard Triscuit whimper a little.

Linda stands frozen with fear. She regrets what she's done, and she's afraid of what will happen next, to herself, her pups, and Maylene's pups.

Bravo growls, ready to teach a harsh lesson. She's gone too far this time.

Tank storms over to Linda and barks harshly demanding why she would do such a terrible thing. They were friends but the turn of events may shatter that friendship they had. Tank feels like lashing out physically at Linda but holds back the urge. He had thought she wasn't the type of meerkat to have given in to a horrible instinct but he guesses he was wrong.

Triscuit sounds weak mur murs feeling like she's about to pass out again. She had lost alot of blood from the wound on her leg.

Linda backs away slightly as Tank storms over and peeps in a weak tone. She couldn't control her instincts! Deep down, she didn't want to, but her instincts told her that it needed to be done.

Bravo digs his claws into the ground. He's never attacked a family member before, but outright murder is something he doesn't tolerate.

Tank grits his teeth hard. He didn't care whether instincts played role or not. His pups were murdered (He thinks) by her and it's something he won't stand for. He takes a step closer to Linda snarling angrily. He never wants to see her again.

Lancaster is over come by guilt. If only he had ignored the rover and returned below ground instead, perhaps none of this would've happened. He feels because he had let himself become distracted he's at fault for letting Linda get passed him.

Linda shudders.

Bravo snarls and pounces. He bites her side and chases her.

Linda runs off, Bravo gives chase. She runs to a shaded spot under a tree nearby and sits. Bravo stops and comes back. He's keeping her away from the mob for now.

Luna grooms Maylene a little, shocked about what had happened. No pup deserved the be inflicted painful wounds and live. No pup deserved to die, but live with permanent ijuries?

ooc: yes, him. Oh well, he's helping with a school project with me tomorrow. xD

Tank watches Bravo punish his sister and chase her off. He relaxes his tensed muscles and pads over to a bush to be alone. He's so angry that he doesn't want to be around anyone at the moment.

Lancaster lifts his head up. He looks over at the chamber and peeks in to see how Snickers and Triscuit are holding up. They look like they're critical condition. It's looking like the chances of them surviving are grim.

Linda whimpers as she watches them. She's received temporary exile from her brother, and it may not stop there. She cleans the blood from her mouth.

Bravo wtaches and sits down. Of all meerkats, he never expected Linda to be the one to commit such an act. He looks at Tank, feeling bad for him. He'll let him have his space.

Maylene then picks her other pups up and brings them over to Triscuit and Snicker, but not too close that they'll get covered in blood. It was just terrible, but Maylene would let the others choose Linda's fate because all that Maylene cared about was her pups, not Linda.

Luna sighs and tries to clean Triscuit and Snicker from blood. She then groomed Maylene a little, hoping to comfort her.
