Roleplay- 15th of November

Lancaster hasn't taken notice of Linda appearing on the horizon and has his back towards the burrow and Linda. He tilits his head to the side thinking he saw movement in some vegetation off in the distance.

ooc: She doesn't. She's just blocking it because she's pissed at Maylene, but is leaving a gateway for Linda to attack.

Maylene snarls right back at Luna and then growls at her. No harm was being done to Buckeye's pups. She wasn't even taking them that far. Then Maylene chirped to the pups so that they wouldn't follow her. Maylene then just ignores Luna and lays down.

ooc: Lancaster is also distracted so now's your chance;)

Lancaster suddenly sees a sand colored blur through the vegetation. He squints his eyes trying to make out what the animal could've been.

Linda sneaks closer, trying to go in undetected. She seizes this as he chance and darts into the burrow, heading directly for Maylene's pups. She will do the unthinkable for her own litter.

Suddenly the familiar head of a meerkat pops up from behind a small bush. A rover! Lancaster shoots a nasty glare at the shady looking male but the male isn't phased and slinks to another bush that's closer to the burrow. He wants to know if there's any females inside and may go to the extremes of fighting Lancaster to try to make a break in to find out.

Triscuit squeaks, scared. She feels something isn't right.

Linda enters the chamber the pups are in, still undetected. She sneakily approaches the pups and watches them with a cold-blooded blank expression. The pups die now! She grabs a hold of Triscuit and bites the pup's leg, tasting blood.

Triscuit sounds a blood quirtling squeal. She can feel excrusiating pain in her leg and is helpless to defend herself from her vicious attacker.

Lancaster makes a bluff dash at the rover and barks warning him to leave or he'll tear him apart. He's got pups to defend and will fight to the death to keep them safe. He's unaware that Linda has begun her massacre below ground.

ooc- Linda won't stop unless if she's caught.

ic- Linda drops the pup harshly, worried that the cry was heard. She instead bites Snicker.

ooc; It's a rule. you can't ignore other meerkats.

Luna kicks sand on Maylene, but steps over her and looks at the pups. No harm done. maybe Luna should start to become more trustworthy of Maylene.

Maylene then jumps back up to life after hearing her pup squeal. Then she runs in the direction of the squealand then sees Linda with one of her pups in her mouth and then charges at Linda and then attacks her.

Luna suddenly whips around and hears the squeal. She watches as Maylene attacks Linda. She doesn't notice the pup, but watches. SHe wanted to help Linda, but didn't want to risk harm to her pups.

Linda lets go of her strong bite and gets knocked back. She growls and tries to push her off, while at the same time grabbing a hold of Triscuit again. They must die for her own pups!

ooc- I have to go. Maybe we can halt this momentarily until I get back in say... over an hour?

Tricuit grunts a squeak as she hits the floor, whimpering. She is unable to move her back leg and begins squealing for her mother to come protect her. She terrified and doesn't know if her attacker could come back for more.

The rover smirks slyly still unphased by Lancaster's protective display. He scoffs taunting Lancaster that he's been dealt worse warnings and creeps closer to the burrow. The male rover appears to be cocky and brazen, the type that just ticks Lancaster off. Lancaster growls. Fine. If he wants an even worse warning then that's just what he's about to get. Lancaster begins furiously scent marking around the burrow hoping he'll heed this warning but if it fails he'll have to resort to using his claws and fangs.

ooc: I'll be gone most of the night at the dance... My first dance with a guy! xD

Maylene then charges at Linda again and then bites down on Linda'a front right leg and then shakes it hard and viciously as she can.

ooc- I'll stop there.

ooc: Meyerm just asked for you to stop posting with the fighting.

ooc: Awesome! I hope you have fun at the dance Stormy and that sounds exciting that you'll be experiancing your first dance with a guy. It'll be a special moment you'll always remember

Snicker squeals in pain and suddenly finds it harder to breathe.

Unaware of the pups' fate, Jackie is still following Buckeye. She starts digging for food.

Also unaware, Buckeye starts foraging.

Snowflake also digs for food.

ooc- Back. We can resume.

ic- Linda lets go of Triscuit as she's overcome with guilt. She whimpers. What has she done?! She breaks free from Maylene and runs out of the burrow, heading back towards where she came. She's unaware of the blood stain around her mouth.

Bravo starts foraging, still unaware of his sister's dark deeds.

Ariel whimpers a lets out a loud cry. All of the fighting is scaring her.

Still unaware of Maylene fighting desperately to keep her pups from suffering the fate of Linda's murderous maternal instincts, Lancaster is engaged in a battle of his own. He's trying furiously to scare off a stubborn rover who refuses to leave. The rover has failed to heed Lancaster's scent mark warning frenzy and is now 10 feet away from the burrow, laying there spread out on his belly acting casual and unintimedated. Way too close for comfort in Lancaster's opinion and this immediately labels the brazen rover a threat. Lancaster's fur is now standing on end and he has his tail erect ready for battle. He didn't want to resort to this but if he's to get rid of this pesky rover for good he'll have to do it with physical force. Lancaster doesn't bother to war-dance, he goes right into a charge. This spooks the rover but before he could react, Lancaster rears up as he got close enough to the rover to attack and slashes doiwn his and smacking his back legs into the air as he then goes for the legs. Now finally intimedated, the rover flees with Lancaster hot on his tail. He won't accept potentially dangerous strangers near the group's delegate ladies and fragile pups.

Triscuit cries out in pain as her broken leg radiates throbbing pain through out her tiny body.

Tank is unaware of the drama that's occuring at the burrow and is foraging furiously.

Linda runs through some vegetation, not really seeing where she's going, but she doesn't care as long as it's away from the burrow. She clears the vegetation and runs right into Lancaster. She shrieks slightly and keeps running, believing he's after her.

Lancaster is knocked to the ground when Linda collides into him but before he could ask for an explaination, he sees her disappear into some vegetation. He blinks confused as to what that was about. He'll worry about it later. Right now he wants to finish off what he started, ousting this annoying rover from Willow's land. As he gets back up Lancaster realizes that he's lost sight of the rover and growls. Hopefully the injuries he inflicted on the rover's side and legs will be enough to send a message to him to never return. Proud that he had done his job, Lancaster struts back to the burrow, unaware that the reason for Linda's strange behavior is because she had seriously injured a niece and nephew of his and thought he had found her out.

Linda runs at full speed, which has decreased considerably since she became pregnant. She keeps running until she can't run anymore. She stops under a camel thorn tree, panting heavily. It was a lot of work running that fast. She sits to catch her breath, whimpering between them. She tried to commit murder, and even though her encounter with the pups was brief, it may have been enough to kill the fragile newborns.

Bravo eats a millipede.

Lancaster arrives back at the burrow. After that fierce stand off with the rover, he's left feeling disturbed and on edge. He develops the urge to want to check on the pups and heads below ground. As he inches his way through the tunnel, he has no idea that he's about to walk into the pup chamber to see a horrifying sight.

Triscuit has gone silent. The pain has knocked the tiny fragile pup unconcious.

Tank is tragically unaware that 2 of his children are fighting for their lives after suffering a vicious attack from Linda and is happily munching on a large millipede he had dug up a minute ago.
