Roleplay- 15th of November

Snicker feeds from Maylene.

Buckeye gets back to foraging, satisfied that Linda is gone.

Maylene then laid her head down, but was happy when Snicker had begun to feed.

Carmella still doesn't respond.

Tank can hear the sound of his pups ahead but what will he find just around the corner? He rounds the bend and reaches the chamber where Maylene and their pups are. He takes notice of the 3 healthy pups and sighs in relief seeing that they haven't been harmed but what about the 2 he was told were dead? He spots Triscuit and Snicker nestled against their mother's fur appearing to be alive! He rushes over to them sniffing at them but realizes they weren't completely spared from Linda's wrath. He sees that they're badly wounded and appearing to be near death. He growls. Linda is lucky to have not recived a vengeful beating from him but if these pups die, she won't be so lucky then.

Triscuit has stopped wailing and is feeding from her mother. She detects vibrations from another meerkat entering the chamber and squeaks. She doesn't know it but it's her father coming in to check on her and her littermates.

ooc: Lol. Carmella not healthy. o-o

ooc: Oh. Should we say she was attacked too?

Tank sniffs at Carmella realizing she also appears to be in bad shape. It seems 3 of his pups have been dealt a brutal blow by Linda. He sits down in shock by the sight of the carnage.

ooc: I wanted her to be that way but no one seemed to notice what I said.

Carmella doesn't do anything at first but a minute later she squeals a little.

Linda's breathing slows as she has a few minutes to rest, but now she's worried. She's alone, and maybe for good this time. It's only a matter of weeks before the pups are born. She looks down at her belly and sighs. Her pups will end up dying because of her. She tends to the eviction mark at her tail base left by Buckeye.

Bravo sighs and decides to forage some more. Linda's pups will have to pay for their mother's actions.

Ariel looks at Tank as he comes and stares into the burrow entrance as he goes below.

Snicker calms when his father smells him.

ooc: Oh sorry. I didn't see the post that said you wanted her to be attacked. I'm not very aware of things sometimesXD

Tank looks from Triscuit to Snicker to Carmella and grunts in despair. He can't believe that this happened to his first seen litter. He grits his teeth and digs his claws into the ground angry. Linda will pay for this.

Triscuit resumes feeding from Maylene. She twitches occassionaly from the pain.

ooc: Yeah. I planned for her to also have received possible brain damage from it, hence the not responding.

Linda gets up and starts walking in a random direction. She has no place else to go, so why bother aiming for something specific?

Tank sniffs at his 3 pups' injuries then begins to gently groom them. Such horrific wounds sustained to such tiny pups is bound to leave them with perminant damage that is if they even manage to survive.

Linda stops and looks around for danger. She's going to have to quickly adjust to watching her own back. She gets back on all fours and keeps walking.

Above ground, Lancaster has his head hung low in sympathy for his brother. He knows that Tank seeing his pups' suffering must be effecting him tremendously.

Tank curls around his his pups, laying across from Maylene. He looks at her distraught. Their chances at being parents may have partially been ruined.

Linda walks along, hoping to find shelter she can use once it gets dark. This eviction is different from the first. This time she knows she won't be allowed back in anytime soon, and her pups won't be safe either way. She has to move on and find refuge elsewhere.

Bravo keeps foraging, trying to forget what has happened.

Ariel hesitantly heads into the burrow. She's curious to know what's happening down there right now, but is also afraid of what she might see.

Tank nuzzles his 2 healthy pups and begins to groom them to calm them. They must've been terrified when the attack took place. Being both blind and deaf, they were easy targets if Linda had chosen to fully finish the job. He then shifts to tending to his 3 injured pups, trying desperately to keep their wounds clean so they don't become infected.

Lancaster watches Ariel head below ground but doesn't follow her. He doesn't to see his brother devestated. The last time he saw his brother devestated it was an ugly sight which he isn't ready to repeat again.

Triscuit wails soflty as she feels her father grooming her. She moves her head up to where she thinks he is.

Ariel rounds the corner into the chamber and almost backs out again. She watches wide eyed from the entrance.

Linda walks along, her head hung low. She isn't even looking at what's in front of her, or paying attention to anything right now. She's let everyone down. The Willows, herself, her pups, Ninja. What will he think of her? She really will feel like dying if he hates her.

Tank feels helpless. He's doing all he can to try to nurse the injured pups' wounds but it seems some of them are only getting worse. He sighs expecting them to not make it.

Lancaster tries to keep focused to gaurd duty but he's too distracted to even pay attention to what's going on around him and the burrow. His poor brother Tank, experiancing the potential loss of most of his first litter, Triscuit Snicker and Carmella, nearing death as every hour goes by. Lancaster's mind is repeating that scenerio that must be happening now below ground.

Linda snaps out of it and stops. She could have been killed when she wasn't paying attention, but luckily she wasn't. There's still a problem though. She's stumbled close to the Willows burrow by accident and is in plain sight. She must have somehow unconsciously headed back to the burrow. She stands frozen, unsure if she's been spotted, and afraid making a move will get her spotted.

ooc- I want her to get caught and receive a bite. That will solidify her decision to not try to return.

ooc: Ok. Since Lancaster is above ground, I think I'll have him deliver the bite.

Lancaster turns his head, thinking he saw some movement in the vegetation near the burrow. He rises up on his hind legs and faces his body in the direction where he saw the movement. His tail is erect a sign that he's ready to defend the pups if danger has reared its ugly head. Lancaster spots someone familiar through the bushes, Linda, and growls. Once a friend of Lancaster's and Tank's, Linda had decided to betray that relationship by attempting murder on their half blood pups. Despite being a forgiving meerkat, Lancaster isn't so forgiving this time and knows that his brother Tank wouldn't want her snooping around here so he does a favor for his brother and wardances towards Linda. She's now public enemy number one.

Unaware of Linda accidentally stumbling onto burrow grounds, Tank gaurds his pups' conditions anxiously. He doesn't want to leave their sides at the moment fearing something bad could happen.

Tuck watched as Linda approached the burrow. He peeped to Lancaster in warning. He could smell blood from her, it wad fresh. It was most likely an eviction mark.

Lancaster sniffs at the air and picks up the smell of the blood. He narrows his eyes. She had it coming and deserves an eviction for what she did.

Linda yips and stands frozen as he charges. She comes to her senses and turns around to run, but her pregnancy has taken away her superior speed, and can't outrun Lancaster.

ooc: MEH. I've had enough of this. I'm going to take a break from this site for a a couple days.
