Roleplay- 15th of November

Maylene then turned around and went back to her pups and curled up next to them.

Carmella didn't respond.

Triscuit calms down scensing her mother next to her.

Lancaster grunts and is knocked against the burrow wall when Mozart pushes past him. He lets her leave the burrow and is relieved when she does.

Tank settles down when Mozart leaves the burrow. He returns to helping Maylene tend to their pups.

Linda whimpers. She's running low on time, and she doesn't yet have a place to sleep for the night.

Lancaster pads over to the chamber where Maylene and Tank's pups are to see how they're doing. He peers in eyeing the 3 pups who are struggling to survive and frowns when he sees they haven't imporved. In fact 2 of them appear to be getting worse.

Tank looks up at his brother grimly. He fears Carmella and Snicker may not make it.

Triscuit whimpers feeling the pain in her leg increase again.

Linda starts walking again, a little panic-striken now. She must find a bolthole and soon. The weight of her pups is slowing her search, which makes her more anxious.

Bravo looks up. They should head home soon.

Ariel comes out from the cover of the bush and runs inisde to find Lancaster.

Lancaster sits down feeling helpless. There may be nothing they can do but hope and prey that they survive.

Tank sighs in dispair. If they die, he'll make sure the next time he sees Linda, she'll pay for this. He does the best he can to prevent sand from getting into the 3 injured pups' wounds so they won't become infected.

Mozart Watches Ariel Head Below And Then Disapear into the darkness.

Mozart Rests Her Head on Her Paws And Looks Off Into the Distance Her Eyelids Close And She Goes Into A Light Sleep

Luna decides she needs to head above and get some sunlight. She churrs softly to Tosca, a good morning.

Tank yawns. The emotional toll of today's events has him emotionally and physically drained but it won't be an easy night. With Carmella, Snicker and Triscuit fighting for their lives he won't be able to sleep. He can't sleep. If he has too he'll stay up all night monitoring their conditions and aiding them in anyway he can to keep them alive.

Lancaster looks away. He hates seeing his brother like this, all devastated and distaught. It's just too much for him. Plus the sight of the 3 injured pups' wounds is making him queezy again. He heads above ground to get some air and to think.

Linda looks around for a bolthole, but there's none in sight.

Lancaster sits next to the burrow entrance with his head hung low. It's evening and perhaps the last part of the day they'll see Snicker, Carmella and Triscuit alive again. It's looking more and more likely that they'll die tonight from their injuries.

Tank gently nudges Carmella. He hasn't seen her move much and it heavily concerns him.

Triscuit whines when she adjusts herself. her broken leg hurts too much to move.

Linda shivers as the temperature starts to drop as evening fast approaches. Things are not turning out well. She'll be predated if she can't find shelter.

Lancaster looks into the distance, his thoughts now on Linda. Despite being angry with her for attempting murder on 3 of Maylene's pups, he still finds himself worrying about her since she's been evicted. It's going to be dark soon and he wonders how she's fairing with trying to find shelter. Many night time predators will be out soon and she could be easy prey if she's spotted by one. He lowers his head and sighs. He wishes he could come to her aide to provide her with protection and comfort but he's sure the group and especially his brother would disapprove of that. He grunts frustrated. He feels torn between wanting to be loyal to his brother and the group and wanting to be loyal to Linda.

Tank tends to Snicker trying to keep his wound clean.

Bravo stares into the distance as well while at the foraging party. If Linda was't pregnant, he wouldn't have any conflicted thoughts about her eviction. Actually she wouldn't even be evicted. He feels she deserves it, but her pups don't.

Linda looks around as it gets darker. She may even be forced to find shelter someplace other than underground. There were a few times she was resorted to that in the past, before becoming a Willow.

Lancaster glances at the burrow thinking about how Linda's unborn pups could've had the luxury of having a nice warm burrow to be born in but because of Linda's choice to try to kill a litter of pups, her pups could end up being born in a cold bolt hole where no one will be around to help Linda watch over, protect and feed them. He worries at this point in her life they may not survive to be born at all.

Linda looks around, focusing on a broader range of potential shelters now. Her quick and resourceful thinking is why she's alive today, and she will continue it to try to take on what lies ahead. She spots a fallen tree in the distance and starts heading towards it.

Lancaster shuffles his feet. He's restless and wants to know if Linda and her unborn pups are ok but he also keeps in mind that her punishing eviction is diserved but not for her unborn pups. If she survives, maybe this will teach her lesson about what to expect if she thinks about attempting to kill another litter in the future.

Linda arrives at the fallen tree and inspects it. It must have fallen a long time ago. She climbs onto it with some difficulty, due to extra weight and a decreased range of motion, but manages to get on top. Any spaces large enough for a meerkat are just large enough, and comfort is something she won't be feeling tonight.

Lancaster leans back on his haunches twitching his tail restlessly. He has so much to worry about on his mind that he can barely focus on keeping watch for predators.

Linda sits on the top of the fallen tree and looks around. This may be the first of many hard nights alone. She whimpers. What will happen when she reaches the final days of her pregnancy, and she could barely run and do all of the things needed to live alone? Once she gives birth is another story entirely.

Bravo waits for Buckeye to lead them home.

Lancaster looks back out into the distance waiting anxiously for the return of the Willows group. He sighs sympathetically for Linda knowing that this could be the start of many or all nights without her being in the comfort of the group.

Bravo looks at Buckeye. They should head home soon.

Linda sighs and gets down from her spot on the top. She starts looking for a suitable hole or hallow log to use a makeshift shelter.

Lancaster does some self grooming as a way of soothing his tense nerves as he patiently waits for the Willow's return. He makes occassional glances into the distance, wondering if Linda and her unborn litter have found somewhere safe to sleep for the night.

Tank is unaware that his brother has started to feel bad for Linda as he is still tending to his pups but this time he's comforting all of them. Today's event was traumatic for them and they could be scarred for life Physically, emotionally and mentally.

Triscuit mews softly. She's so weak and exhausted. she's lost alot of blood from her leg wound and the pain has just about wiped out all of her strength.

Grace is confused about the day's events and waits to be led home. (I need to redo the character lists of mine... Seems I forgot a few.)
