Roleplay- 3rd of December (Comets)

Unaware of Elena trying to spot the Comets, Karma churrs calmly as Jupiter appears. She looks over at her with a sympathetic expression on her face. She feels so bad for the pups, imagining they must've seen Dragster's death occur right before their young eyes. They're most likely going to be traumatized but she gets the gist he must've been saving them during the dangerous event when he died. If so, she honors him for his incredible bravery. Because of him, the pups are safe.

Nashita feels the urge to let out more of her somer emotions. She sounds muffled whimpers since her face is pressed into Karma's belly but soon calms when she feels Jupiter nuzzle her.

Boomslang whines as his eyes lay on Dragster's dead body again.

Jupiter looks back at Karma with a sorrowful expression of her own. But, she knows they shouldn't mourn him for too long. Instead, they should honor him for his heroic deed and make sure his heroic death would never be forgotten.

Karma nods agreeing with Jupiter. Dragster wouldn't want them to be depressed over his death for days and days, he'd want them to honor him and remember his noble act. She smiles proudly as she thinks about Dragster and his heroic rescue.

Jiggy was sitting alone , he was unaware of Elena and bandit trying to locate the group

bic: Cloud Catcher looks at Dragster's body, worried. He didn't know what had happened, but he was scared. Whatever it was, it could still be hanging around the burrow.
Lyric rested his head on his paws. He didn't really care about the others.

Amani and Jia are in the burrow, sobbing.

Enkozi isn't sure what to think.

Bandit smiles and followed Elena.

Splash cuddled up to Cloud Catcher.

Cloud Catcher churrs reasurringly to Splash, and grooms her.

Jupiter gently nuzzles Amani and Jia comfortingly. She peeps to them, telling them that Dragster wouldn't want them to be weeping forever. Instead, they should honor him for his heroic deed. But she also understood they needed time to mourn for the brave male. He had done this to ensure the pups could live and see another day. She felt sorrowful herself, but being the dominate female, she kept a strong look. She wept on the inside, however. Dragster's deed was very noble, and she would remember it for the rest of her life. She was unaware Elena and Bandit were on their way back to the bolt hole.

Topaz rolled in her sleep. When her injured back touched the chamber wall, she awoke with a yelp and winced as burning pain shot throughout her small body. She whined slightly, curling up into a ball, trembling from the pain.

Nashita has stopped crying and nods to Amani and Jia agreeing with Jupiter. Instead of balling their eyes out for hours or even days, they should honor Dragster for his bravery. She no longer feels the urge to cry having let out her emotions and now spends a few moments to think about Dragster and his courageous act that saved them all from meeting an early untimely death.

Karma looks up at the ceiling and smiles softly. Dragster is now in a better place and is most likely watching them from above right now. She knows he wouldn't want them to be depressed and would want them to honor him and remember his couragous act forever. She looks over at Jupiter with a proud smile on her face. Dragster and his act of courage will never be forgotten.

Jupiter nods at Karma and Nasthia, glad she had some who agreed with her. She hears Topaz's whining and went over to check on her. Noticing her injuries was covered in sand and dirt, she frowns and instantly got to work on grooming Topaz's wounds. They had to be kept clean to avoid any chances of infection.

Topaz felt someone grooming her and looks up to see Jupiter. She sniffles slightly, the pain was to the point that it was causing tears to form in her small eyes. However, she slowly calms down and allows Jupiter to tend to her wounds.

Karma also hears Topaz's whines and follows Jupiter to see if she's alright. When she sees her, she notices that some sand had gotten into her wounds and helps Jupiter to clean them. If they allow even a little bit of dirt or other debris to stay in her wounds, Topaz could fall seriously ill from an infection which could put her life in danger.

Nashita's thoughts of rememberance are interrupted by Topaz's cries of pain. She frowns with sympathy. She had seen how serious some of her wounds looked and is worried about her.

Jupiter is glad Karma is helping out. Everyone needed to work together to ensure Topaz would pull through this and not develop any infections. Her injuries needed constant attention, due to the fact sand, dirt, and other things could get into her wounds and easily cause infection, which could kill the poor thing. She still felt this was partly her fault. She should of kept a better eye on Topaz, and maybe she could of caught Ghost before he had seriously injured her. She whines a bit from the memory of seeing Topaz in Ghost's jaws, struggling to get free and being helpless to do anything to protect herself.

Topaz stayed still as Jupiter and Karma tended to her injuries. This event was something she'd never forget. Ghost had nearly ended her life today, and her wounds were proof of his heartless deed. She began to think why he did such a thing to her. She didn't do anything to make another meerkat attack her. It confused her greatly, and also, caused some fear. What if another meerkat attempted to hurt her again?

Karma hears Jupiter whine and nuzzles her comfortingly. She takes notice she appears to look guilty. Assuming she thinks it was her fault the attack on Topaz happened, Karma shakes her head convincing Jupiter it wasn't her fault this happened. It happened so fast that there was really nothing to do to have prevented the attack. Ghost was clever. He had used stealth to sneak up on Topaz plus that trick to kick up sand which was used as a diversion in attempt to finish what he started. It's because of Jupiter Topaz is still alive. If she hadn't kept up a stubborn persistant retaliation attack on Ghost, Topaz wouldn't be here right now. Karma smiles at Jupiter proudly. Because of her determination and bravery, Topaz is still alive.

Elena starts to head back to the burrow, remembering where it is.

Both Amani and Jia stop sobbing upon hearing this. Jupiter was right.

Nashita sniffs feeling the urge to let out more tears but resists. She needs to stay strong to honor Dragster and be positive that Topaz will heal.

Boomslang heads into the burrow but pauses shortly after he enters and turns his head, looking out the entrance with a proud smile. Dragster's noble deed will never be forgotten and he will always be in his heart and memories.

Elena keeps walking. It's starting to get late, and she wants to return to the group's company. For her sake she hopes they don't find at that she might be carrying Bandit's pups. If she does fall pregnant she will only have a few weeks at least to conceal it and think of backup plans for the worst. She's not preparred for an eviction now.

Jupiter looks at Karma and slowly, she nods, cheering up a bit. She was right... There was nothing that could of been done to prevent all this. Her stubborness and anger toward Ghost had managed to prevent Topaz from dying, and it felt like luck was on their side when Ghost chose to flee rather than finish the pup off while herself and Karma were still distracted. But all that mattered was Topaz was still alive and had a fighting chance to heal. She nuzzles Karma in graduate. She could always count on her or someone else in the mob to cheer her up and reassure her as well.

Topaz was still in her thoughts. Finally, after a bit, she looked up at the two adults, peeping and asking why Ghost attacked and attempted to kill her. Did she do something bad? What did she do to cause a meerkat to come and attack her? She wanted to know.

Karma smiles at Jupiter glad to have cheered her up. She dislikes seeing a fellow friend down, especially when they're blaming themselved for something they weren't responsible for. She looks down at Topaz wishing she could explain that to her but she doesn't even know why Ghost attacked her. She'd never known a rover to attack pups out of the random. Perhaps he could be mentally ill or hates pups...who knows. She just hopes to never see Ghost again. Finding out from him in person would only be foolish. It happened and now its over. The only thing that matters is that Topaz had survived the attack.

Jupiter also didn't know why Ghost would do such a heartless deed. She shakes her head at Topaz, unable to explain this to her. The only way to know was to ask Ghost himself. But he was a big threat, and he was a clever rover. She couldn't help but actually pity any other mob who had to deal with him. Unaware he had already attempted to murder one of the dominates pups in the Jumaa mob. She finishes grooming Topaz's wounds and double checks to be sure that nothing else was in them.

Topaz frowned when the two females couldn't explain it to her. It must of been more complicated than she thought. However, she was glad she was able to survive Ghost's cruel and heartless assault. She had thought her life would end today, but it was thanks to Jupiter and Karma who defended her. She decides not to really worry anymore. It was all behind her, and she had to focus on healing and recovering from her injuries.

FrightNight began to fall asleep

Karma tries not to think about Ghost and what he did to Topaz. It'll only make things worse and upset the traumatized pup. She cuddles Topaz close and tends to her back wound, taking notice that a little bit of sand was still in the wound. She also worries for the groups that are visited by him, more for their pups' sake. He's extremely dangerous and she knows pups can have a naiive sense of judgment when encountering a stranger. She hopes the adults of those groups are being very watchful of their pups and keeping them close. She's unaware that a pup in the far away Jumaa mob had almost fallen victim to his deadly intentions.

Elena quickens her pace as darkness fast approaches. She wants to get home, and looks back to make sure Bandit is following.

Jupiter decides to go outside and take one last look to ensure everything would be safe. And had a small bit of hope maybe seeing Elena and Bandit come in. She goes to the burrow entrance.

Topaz churrs happily when Karma cuddles with her. It makes her forget about Ghost's attack and she cuddles against Karma happily, joyful of her company.
