Roleplay - 23rd of July 2009

ooc: Before I start, I have made a BIG mistake. First, Crash is not a pup, but is actually an adult, and Miley isn't Verneice's age (11 months) but is actually 2 years old. Just pretend that in all my previous posts, that I knew this, lol. Thanks!

bic: Keeko emerged first, stretching. He sat up and sunned himself.
Crash emerged, and stood up, keeping an eye out for dangers.
Tuck followed, and ran around playfully.
Miley stayed below, still asleep.

LMAO!! np, well thst great, much more experience at Willows

Buckeye was next up, followed closely by Verniece and Hutch. She groomed all her family members, and waited patiently for the rest of the group to emerge.

Keeko chirped to Buckeye.
Tuck ran over to Hutch, chirping playfully.

Verniece sunned herself, watching the pups while Hutch bounded playfully over to Tuck.

Tuck ran around playfully.
Miley emerged, yawning.

I'll just play Pancake for now until she gets back.

With Splash the last to get up, Buckeye led the foraging group out.

ooc: I hope Pancake comes back soon.

bic: Keeko followed Buckeye closely.
Miley called to Crash, and then followed Buckeye.
Tuck ran along happily.

Verniece and Hutch follow as well.

Keeko chirps, scanning the area. There was no danger, so he began to forage.
Miley finds a fallen tree, and climbs ontop, chhring to the group to let them know she was on guard.

Buckeye digged ferociously in a hole. She smelled food. She cornered her prey and brough a scorpion above ground. She devoured it eagerly. She was hungry, and very much pregnant. She wasn;t having any trouble throwing her weight around.

Splash tried to avoid Buckeye while she was eating. Experience said to never get between a pregnant female and her food.

Keeko saw Buckeye and smiled. He kept his distance though, to give Buckeye space.
Miley chrred anxiously. There were storm clouds gathering on the horizon. Keeko looked up, and growled to himself.

Buckeye also saw the strm clouds and became agitated. It was still about an hour away, so she wanted to gtet as much food as possible before the strm broke. She led her grup in the opposite direction. It was time to find a new burrow.

Verniece looked at the rainclouds uneasily. She began to forage, finding food for herself as well as Hutch and the other pups, wanting to make sure they got a chance to eat before it started to rain.

Tuck looked up fearfully. He followed Verneice.
Miley jumped down from her post and ran over to Crash. Although he was an adult, she still treated him like a pup. Crash growled slightly, and swattered her playfully with his paw.

Verniece smiles reassuringly at Tuck, and gives him a skink.

Tuck chirped thankfully to Verneice.

Verniece smiled at Tuck.

Two males approached the group. It was Wagner and Vardi. After their unsuccesful visit with the Twizzlers, they ran into The Willows territory. They stuck to the bushes, not wanting to be seen just yet.
Keeko was unaware of the males following the group. He looked up anxiously at the sky. It looked as if it was about to rain.

Buckeye soon stopped, with Splash bumping into her. She heard something in the brush, and it wasn't the approaching storm. An uneasy breeze flew over the group, and Buckeye stood on her legs to see over the tall grass. But she couldn't spot anything. She continued to forage... she needed to fill up before the rain set in.

Verniece, feeling uneasy with the growing threat of a storm and an unknown presence, takes sentry.

Keeko stood up, trying to intimidate the males. He stayed near Buckeye, but kept his eye on Miley, Verneice and the pups.
Wagner peered out of the bushes. He could see Miley, who was a little seperated from the others. He scuttled towards her.

Buckeye was too preoccupied with her food to see Wagner approaching Miley. Splash, however, saw the male, but thinking it was Keeko, resumed feeding.

Verniece scanned the area, but failed to notice Wagner creeping up on Miley.

Wagner had reached Miley, and he chirped quietly to her. Startled, Miley yelped, and lunged at the male.
Hearing Miley yelp, Keeko ran to her aid, viciously attacking Wagner.
With no other choice, Wagner broke free and dissapeared into the bushes, his brother Vardi following him.

Buckeye looked up and watched as Keeko chased away Wagner. Buckeye snorted, and then resumed her feeding. The clouds were approaching even closer, so she began leading the family to a nearby bolt hole to wait it out. She knew, though, that this might be the last rain fall for a while. Might as well take advantage of it...
