Roleplay - 23rd of July 2009

Verniece looked as the rovers left, then chirped to Hutch and Tuck to follow her into the bolthole.

Keeko ran over to Buckeye's side, and chirped to her.
Tuck followed Verneice. He looked to the sky, intrigued.
Miley and Crash followed the others.

Buckeye groomed Keeko, and almsot suddenly, listened as the rain began to pour outside. Splash seeked shelter underneath Buckeye.

Keeko growled as the rain began to fall. He headed towards the nearest bolt-hole.

Verniece nudges Tuck and Hutch into the burrow, then enters it herself.

Tuck ran after Verneice, a little scared.
Miley and Crash dashed after the group. Crash shook himself dry and Miley began to groom herself.

About an hour later, the rain stopped. Buckeye led her gang outside into the sun. It was damp, and great conditions for foraging. She led her group out, toward the edge of their territory.

Keeko followed, wondering what Buckeye had in mind. He looked over his shoulder nervously.
Miley stayed close to Buckeye, and Crash kept an eye out for predators.

Slash followed loyally, struggling to keep up.

Buckeye was leading them toward the gap in their terriotry between them and the Devils. Maybe there would be more food, and possibly more burrows.

Keeko stood up, keeping an eye on the border. He didn't want to be caught by the Devils. Little did he know that Simmons was their new dominant male.

Buckeye didn't want a fight. Her pups were due soon; what she needed was food and a safe place to give birth. Finally, she found a burrow in the middle of the two territories. It was huge and well supported. She decided to make this their new home and the birthing burrow. She cleaned up a bit, but, quite tired, sat down and watched the sinking sun. With Slash playing with the other pups nearby, Buckeye looked on to her growing family. She just hoped the Devils wouldn't come anywhere near anytime soon.

Keeko sat by Buckeye and started to groom her. He would make sure that the pups were well looked after.
Tuck ran over to Splash, chirping playfully.
Miley stood up, keeping an eye out for dangers.
Crash started to clean the burrow.

Buckeye groomed Keeko back. She was very happy to have such a loving family around her. And soon, that family would grow.

Keeko nodded to Buckeye. It wasn't that long till her pups were due.
