Roleplay - 10th of October

ooc: I guess you can have Ninja play dead, Leon won't stop until he's either dead or chased to the other side of the planet. Playing dead could be a way to escape without needing to fight back or get seiously injured.

bic: Leon clawed at Ninja's face hard and he still held tight to Ninja's throat.

ooc: Ok

Ninja realizes the more he fights back the harder Leon fights. Not wanting to risk serious injury or death Ninja suddenly goes limp. He slows his breathing to a point where it's barely noticable to the eye and hopes that his playing possum tricks work on the agressor meerkats. Having roved to many groups he's had to play this trick so much that he's become a professional at it and it's never failed him. He hopes it still fools many meerkats in times to come.

Tank shakes off his daze and sees that Ninja has gone limp. He smirks thinking that Ninja was dead.

Leon let go of Ninja and glarged coldly at him, he picked Megan up in his mouth and looked to Linda, she would have a LOT of explaining to do to Buckeye. He glared at her, as a way of saying, he was escorting her back to the mob to make sure she didn't get into more trouble.

Linda reaches the hole and looks in. She sees Ninja limp. Falling for the trick, Linda think he's dead. She puts her head down and makes her way back to the other entrance, slowly.

Leon follows Linda, he makes oe last glance and Ninja before continuing to follow Linda back.

Tank turns his back to Ninja also falling for his trick then glares at Linda. She had done a taboo, aided a rival, and could face serious Consequences from Buckeye when she finds out. He's concerned about her well being and position in the group but can do nothing to help if she's given a brutal punishment. It's up to Buckeye to decide what to do with her. If needs to do anything, he'll offer her support in anyway he can. Tank runs out of the entrance where he meets his frantic brother.

Lancaster arrives at the bolthole entrance panting like crazy. he stands on his hind legs frantically scanning the area for any signs of life. He hears nothing and sees no one. His heart sinks fearing the worst. Suddenly he sees his brother Tank emerge from the bolthole with a bruise on his forehead and barks (What the heck just happened?!)

Linda looks back one last time and sits at the entrance of the bolthole. She starts to clean the rover scent off of her fur, preparing for an encounter with Buckeye. She was honestly trying to protect Megan when she pulled her away. Uncertain of her immediate future, she had a feeling things might turn out bad.

Leon growled to Lancaster, we caught a rover and a traitor.

Lancaster looks at Linda in shock. She didn't seem like the female who'd be enticed by rovers let alone aide one. He sits on his haunches staring at Linda in disbelief, unsure of what to think about her forbidden actions.

Tank sits next to his brother and starts to groom his cheek trying to keep him calm (Don't worry about it Leon killed the rover, Megan is safe and everything is back to being tranquil)

Lancaster glances at the bolthole entrance curious to see Ninja's dead body for himself. He pushes past his brother and crawls into the bolthole but as he makes his way to the end he doesn't see Ninja anywhere, only the large hole that Ninja created to try to escape. His eyes widen in shock. Ninja had surprised him once before but this time he really threw Lancaster through a loop. He had just been told the rover is dead but he's nowhere to be seen. Lancaster emerges and sits in front of the bolthole entrance baffled then glances up at his brother skeptical (So you killed Ninja huh? Well if you did how come I can't find him any where in the bolthole?)

Tank barks confused (What?!)

Leon snarled and looked below ground. He glared coldly, if he eer saw that rover again, he'd be so sorry he ever met the Willows.

Tank rushes below to investegate. As he crawls through the bolthole tunnel, he sees no sign of Ninja's body laying lifeless on the ground. He makes it to the end of bolthole where the large hole is. Nothing. He snarls then returns above ground. It seems this rover is much more clever than he thought but next time if the Willows meet Ninja, there will be NO escape.

Lancaster stands up on his hind legs and scans the area. Ninja could still be around somewhere, waiting for another chance to strike but as he scans the lining of the tall grass, he sees nothing.

Linda is also shocked when she hears the body's gone. He was playing dead! It was good news to her, but didn't show it. She cleans as much of Ninja's scent as possible off of her and looks down at the ground, worried. She might be pregnant.

Buckeye finally rushes in on scene. She sees the havoc, and is veyr unhappy. She smells rover scent, and Buckeye traces it to the bolthole. But, she also smells it on Linda. Putting two and two together, Buckeye begins to frantically scent-mark Linda. If she is pregnant, that would prove to be even a worse threat to her pups and authority. Grabbing the base of her tail, Buckeye bites down and tears at Linda's tail. This is the first time Buckeye was issuing an eviction.

Unaware of the events unfolding, Verniece is staying close to the pups, keeping an eye out for intruders. Lithium begins to make his move, chirping and laying low and submissive. Verniece sees him and Wilson, and is unsure of what to do.

Tank watches as Buckeye tears into Linda's tail base. He frowns knowing there's nothing he can do to help her. This is strictly female territory.

Lancaster sits by Linda's side. He nuges her under her chin reassuring her that he'll do all he can to support and help her if she needs any. He back away as Buckeye comes charging in. He cringes as she rips into her tail base. It seems her fate has been sealed by Buckeye and like his brother Tank, knows there's nothing he can do now.

Leon watched expresionless, as far as he saw it, Linda should have thought of the cosquences before making the mistake.

Linda submits when Buckeye comes over. Even though she somewhat saw it coming, she was still shocked when she receives an eviction mark. She looks to the others and runs off.

Wilson lets Lithium have this attempt. He steps back, allowing Lithium to make a move.

Tank watches Linda run off. If she hadn't had mated with Ninja and tried to protect him during the fight, she wouldn't be in this grim situation.

Lancaster sighs depressingly as he saw Linda dash for the scrub. He worries for her and her unborn pups' safty now that she no longer has a group to be safe and sound in. He sits up straight and smiles cleverly. When the Willows aren't looking, he'll snaek away to act as her provider and protector through out her eviction.

Leon growled, she got what was coming to her, eviction was a punishment, it is ment to stress the female so far without a group that she looses her pups. that was the whole point of eviction.

Tank rubs his head with both paws as his forehead throbs in pain from Ninja' kick. He'll have a headache for a few days but he can deal with it.

Lancaster silently slinks back from the group then slinks off to find Linda.

Linda keeps running until she's out of sight in a sea of shrubs. She stands, thinking what to do next. Ninja was gone, she was evicted, and alone. They didn't know the truth on if she mated or not. She starts heading in the direction of what she once called home, the burrow.

Luna didn't join in. She could only watch. Leon was a bit too violent when it came to his daughter. Sure, the rover shouldn't be here, but try to kill him? Really?

Leon would fight to the death to defend his daughter, she was the only family he had left.

Tank glances at Leon. He too agreed that the way he faught was a little out of line but he understands why he had to. He'd certainly do the same for Lancaster if he was in the same situation. Like Leon and Megan, Tank and Lancaster were the only blood relatives left after they had dispersed from their group and who knows, by now, their birth group could be lost. Wiped out by disease or predators. Tank lowers his head not wanting to think about it. Even though she may have deserved it, Tank is worried about Linda and her potential unborn pups.

Lancaster has wandered far from the Willows and has picked up Linda's scent. He stands up on his hind legs and scouts the area. No sign of her yet. He puts his nose back to the ground and continues to trail her scent.

Leon stayed expressionless, he felt that none of them understood, and never would.

Tank glances around suddenly realizing his brother is missing. He stands up on hind legs and lets out a frustrated bark. That meerkat never seems to stay put.

Lancaster comes to the top of a dune and scans the landscape below him. There's still no sign of Linda but it looked amazing as he took in the beautiful sights of the Kalahari. He could see in the distance for several miles and could see many different kinds of animals as they dot the horizon. He bounds down the dune to continue trying to track down Linda.
