Roleplay - 15th of July 2009

Mae appeared at the burrow mouth. She looked around anxiously, but there didn't seem to be any danger. She began the daily housework, while Click, who appeared behind her, kept and eye out for any danger.

ooc: Do they have a dominant male?

bic: Lithium emerges and checks the surrounding area before settling down and sunning himself.

ooc: Nope. Click is kinda filling in but they don't have a proper DM.

bic: Mae looked up from her work. She thought she had seen something. But she couldn't see it now, so she just forgot about it and continued cleaning the burrow.

ooc: Lithium could be DM, if you want. (: He kinda has experience anyways. lol

ooc: I don't mind. If you want Lithium to be DM then he can be the DM. We don't have very many DMs.

ooc: Lol, okay.

ooc: I'm playing Inle while Pancake is absent.

bic: Inle emerged from the burrow. He yawned sleepily, and tried to saty away from the others. When finished, Mae sat up, and scanned the area. All seemed safe, and her stomach grumbled. She chirped to the others, and began to forage.

Lithium took sentry duty.

Click was foraging and he caught a small beetle. He walked over to Inle, encouraging him to eat it. Inle looked at it blankly for a moment, before eating it. He then moved off to find his own food. Mae dug in the sand, but she seemed to be finding little.

Simmons caught scent of the TWilights and followed the trail. Suddenly, he saw them in the diatnce. The group, he sensed, had a lot of females. This was perfect. He edged closer, trying to get one of the female's attention without alerting the rest of the family.

Clickpicked up on Simmons scent, and he ran over to Mae, standing protectively infront of her, even though she was already pregnant. He looked around wildly, but he couldn't find the mystery male.

ooc: What should we do about Teetsie, Dawn and Zipper? (Teetsie and Zipper haven't been introduced yet)

I guess someone should take their places fro now. Is there any way to notify the people who haven't been on for a while??

Simmons saw Mae, and had little interest for pregnant females. There were other females in the group, like Dawn, foraging all alone. He turned and headed back for home. He would return tomorrow, when the females weren't so protected.

Lithium growled and stood on guard, while watching intently.

ooc: I can create a users list who haven't been on in such a time or have less than so many posts. I'm gonna create one of them soon.
I'm also taking over Teetsie, since Jack isn't around.

bic: Click watched Simmons leave. He wasn't much of a threat, but he still didn't want him around. He tore agitatedly at the grass, in effort to let Simmons know that the Twilights were not to be messed with. Mae looked on, slightly curious, and began to forage. With pups on the way, she was ravenous.

Lithium grumbled slightly and scent-marked the area, returning to sentry.

Dusk also smells Simmons scent and rushes to his sister's side. He won't let a common rover violate his sister, Dawn or ruin her chances of staying in this mob where she is protected from predators. (Dusk is a bit over protective)

Dawn smells the strange scent and looks around. She starts heading towards the scent but Dusk steps in her way and chirps to behave and stay where it is safe. She smiles and sits down obediently.

Click kept a careful eye on the group. A movement caught his eye, and as he looked, he spotted a lone female. Unsure if she was apart of the group or not, he sounded the alarm.
Teetsie, who had been foraging nearby, heard Click's alarm. She looked up, fearful of what it may be. She had been evicted from her previous mob, and living by herself had made her nervous.

ooc: I'm back. Thanks for playing Inle for me, Dipsy.

bic: Inle spots the new female, and stands up, snickering slightly. He is a little away from the others, but peeps... Will this new female be the doom of them all? Finally? He laughs.

ooc: He he. Inle is funny and creepy and that makes him cool! I'm not very good at playing him though...

bic: Teetsie approached the group cautiously. Maybe, they would accept her. She lay down submissively, showing she meant no harm. Mae rushed over, with Click at her side. She sniffed Teetsie, and then decided to assert her dominance. She scent marked her, and by doing so, she accepted her into the group.

Inle frowns, accepting something a bit more... Aggressive. He sighs, and lies down.

Mae returned to foraging. Being pregnant, she was very hungry. Teetsie followed, trying to suck up to her new leader. Mae couldn't care less. She shoved Teetsie aside, who moved to the other side of the group.

ooc: *expecting instead of accepting

bic: Inle laughs evily, watching Mae shove Teetsie. Perhaps quarreling among them would be their destruction...

Teetsie looked at Inle. She wasn't sure what was so funny.
Mae called to the group, taking them in the direction of home. It was getting late.
