Roleplay - 15th of July 2009

Starburst allowed the grooming, then groomed Hershey back. She was glad she didn't seem to be angry with her. Realizing how hungry she was, Starburst began to forage as well.

Luke foraged, looking for some food. He was really hungry, andd luckily he found a scorpion to satisfy his hunger, even if only for a little while. Alex stayed on guard, watching over his little family.

Hershey continued foraging, finding a beetle finally large enough to recharge her energy. She then walked over to Alex, groomed him, and took up centry duty.

Alex chirped thankfully at Hershey, jumping down to forage. Luke still had his head burried in the dirt, searching for some tasty insect.

Hershey called to Starburst, hinting that it might be time to start searching for a burrow for the night. It was getting late.

Starburst nods, feeling a bit disgruntled but it was a good suggestion. Looking around, she chirped for everyone to follow.

Hershey loyally followed, keeping an eye out for danger as they went.

Luke jumps up and runs after Starburst. Alex trots upto Hershey, chirping cheerfully. Luke kept an eye out for a possible burrow, and he soon found what appeared to be an empty burrow.

Hershey examined the burrow first, making sue there were no clear signs of danger. She then went belw ground to see what else might be lurking here.

Starburst grumbles slightly and followed Hershey underground. Since she was the Dominant Female now, she knew it was her job to check for dangers.

Luke followed Starburst, and Alex sat by the burrow mouth. Today had been quite a day.

Hershey didn't see anything, so she began clearing the entrances for the group to use.

Starburst emerged from the burrow and scanned the skies before lying down and grooming Luke.

Luke groomed Starburst in return. He wanted to make sure that he stayed in her good books. Alex walked over to Hershey and chirped. He only had eyes for her.

Hershey accepted the company and nudging Starburst, Hershey began to call for the group to follow. Being experienced, she knew every burrow in the area. She led the way to the closest and most suitable burrow for her new family, hoping that Starburst would approve.
