Roleplay- 23rd October

Smelling no other meerkats around, Stratus scent marks the area as they go, perhaps they could claim this land as their own.

Karma stops at a stump as she catches the smell of a strange oder and sniffs at it curiously. It has the strange scent of some kind of animal on it but she's relieved that the scent isn't from a rival meerkat group.

Satisfied that the area now belonged to her family, Morning Glory pressed forward across the dry scrub land eager to find a good spot to stop and forage.

Karma follows after Morning Glory eladed to have added on more land to the Tiny Kats territory. She hopes this new patch of land has a good resource of food.

Antebellum looks around warily... she isn't quite sure it's safe...

Karma also keeps her gaurd up. There's still a possibility that a predator or a rival group could still reside somewhere in this land despite the Tiny Kats claiming it as their own.

Pamela keeps her eyes out for danger, unaware of Faeya's fate.

Cautiously, Morning Glory stopped walking and looked around. With no immediate sign of an aerial predator, she started digging hoping to find something nutritious.

Stopping with the rest of the group, Sanders made a dash towards an ‘uncaimed’ adult and persistently followed them hoping they would share anything they found with him.

Leaf also looked around and stood on her hind legs offering with a chirp to the others that she would go on guard duty whilst the others foraged.

Elsewhere away from the party, Va nervously dug in the loose sand hoping to scavenge a loose beetle larvae or a small skink. At this time of year she knew she would be lucky to find anything but was willing to risk that instead of joining the Tiny Kat family out on the group forage.

Karma nervously scans the area making sure that it's clear of danger before starting to forage. Seeing that there's no sign of danger, Karma gets down to foraging.

Jupiter starts to forge as well when she felt confident enough.

Topaz watched as the adults began to forge. She hoped to get a snack out of this as well.

Karma furiously digs into the ground forming a hole that could fit half her body in. She drags out a scorpion, disarms it then eats it quickly.

Alethia and Puzzle notice that the rest of their new group have started foraging, and join in. Puzzle is the first to get lucky, and finds a millipede. He rubs it across the ground to get rid of the toxins on its skin and eats it. Alethia soon finds a skink, and none is waisted as she wolfs it down.

Pamela forages quickly.

Antebellum keeps watch on a tree stump.

Nimbus forages near where Antebellum is surveying the land.

Rose Heart feeling hungry decides to go and try to dig out something for herself. Watching the adults do it makes Rose Heart think she has a chance of getting something out. Near Karma, Rose Heart begins to dig a little, but nothing really happens.

Karma digs at the base of a bush and pulls up a gecko. Seeing Rose Heart struggling to find food, Karma kindly brings it over to her and drops it in front of her.

Rose Heart determined to find a meal for herself has been given a meal by Karma and chirps to her and then begins to eat the gecko.

Jupiter finds herself a beetle and quickly devours it.

Topaz decides to also copy the adults and began to dig around herself, hoping to find a snack.

Karma happily enjoys Rose heart devour her 'gift'. Once she was finished, Karma resumes foraging for herself. She has a litter of unborn pups to provide for and must gather all the nutrients she can before the time comes to give birth.

Puzzle decides to help the sentries and stands on guard. Alethia continues to forage for food.

Pamela eats a millepede quickly.

Stratus also stands sentry.

Bahiya dug furiously at the ground. She brought up a beetle and ate it quickly. She returned to foraging as soon as she was finished.

Karma digs at the ground furiously on an area of soft sand and pulls up a lizard. She devours it quickly.

Jupiter continued to forge.

Topaz on the other hand wasn't having the best of luck, but she kept trying.
