Roleplay- 23rd October

Tank strikes a sneer at the sky as an image of Ninja appears in his head. Just the meer thought of that pesky rover makes his blood boil. He's snooped around here many times. He hasn't gotten lucky until he managed to entice Linda away from the group. Unfortunately he mated with Linda before any of the Willow males could sink their claws into him or chase him off. However that happened after he had mated but he managed to escape. The next time he's seen snooping around here his attempts to escape WILL be futile. Tank peeps expaining to Bravo about the stealthy rover Ninja. He's the father of Linda's pups.

Bravo nods and looks at Linda. She never seemed like the one to fall for a rover. He wants to know more about this stealthy rover. He chirps back to Tank, curious now about who he is.

Linda keeps moving along, slowly catching up. She can faintly hear their conversation.

Tank chirps describing Ninja as having a black spot on the top of his head and the black patches around his eyes are connected. He's an easy male to distinguish but is known to be clever and silent when he roves and tends to stick to the cover of thick patches of tall grass. As told by Lancaster he's also known for snooping around babysitting burrows.

Bravo nods with interest. He will certainly know this male if he sees him. He keeps walking with Tank, waiting for Buckeye to find a good spot to forage.

Linda looks at the ground, hearing the conversation. The father of her pups is a hated enemy of the mob.

Tank scratches at the ground as he walks along side Bravo. He can't smell or hear any prey below his feet so he'll just have to wait until Buckeye stops at a foraging spot where there's a higher chance of finding food.

Finally, Buckeye stops. She has found a spot where they haven't been at for a while. She chirps, letting the others know it's ok to forage.

Glade begins to dig, now old enough to find her own meal. However, she stays close to Hutch, not beside herself to steal a prize that he catches.

Tank starts to furiously dig into the ground. He's starving and hopes to find some morsels that will fill him up.

Bravo spreads out and starts digging for food. He hasn't had much of anything to eat lately, considering he was living alone during the dry season, so he takes advantage of the opportunity to forage while being protected by others and digs at the ground.

Linda lets go of the thought when they get at a foraging spot. She quickly starts digging at the ground, trying to find something to eat.

Maylene stops doing her sentry duty and begins to forage and pads over to a bush and begins to sratch around. Then after thinking she has the smell of something good she looks around and then makes sure nobody is nearby and then finds a beetle and devours it quickly and then goes to the middle of the group and forages.

Tank fails to find anything in the hole he digs up and moves on to another foraging spot under a bush. He furiously claws into the ground this time he finds something but it turns out to be some termites. They aren't very nutritious or filling but at least it's something. Tank picks the termites off the ground and swallows a bunch whole.

Bravo unearths a few beetles and quickly eats them. They might not be finding as much as they would in the wet season, but it's still better than what he had access to alone.

Linda isn't finding anything. The only thing she did find got away. She sits on her haunches, frusterated over not getting anything to eat. She looks at Bravo, who appears to be having better success in finding food. She gets back to trying to find food, scratching at the ground, and looks up at Bravo every so often incase he finds something big enough to share.

Jackie digs, ravenously.

Snowflake digs at his own slow pace.

Bravo keeps digging around, finding small prey like ants and small grubs. They aren't much, but they have to take what they can get. He sniffs around, not having the best luck, until he finds a prized treat, uncommon for this time of year. A scorpion. He grabs it and gets ready to eat it.

Linda, however, sees what his brother has found. She's really hungry and not having any luck. She hasn't eaten anything yet. She normally doesn't steal, but she's very hungry and her pregnancy has made her a little aggressive when it comes to getting what she needs. She rushes in and snatches the scorpion Bravo had.

Bravo tackles Linda after that and they start rough housing for the scorpion. Somewhat playful, as they aren't actually hurting eachother, but also somewhat serious, as they're both hungry and need the scorpion.

Giving a pup a quick lick on the forehead before she left, Josephine headed out of the burrow and up onto the surface to look for the other members of the group.

Tank glances up quickly at Linda and Bravo's scuffle over a scorpion then returns to foraging. He finally pulls up something decent, a millipede. He looks around making sure no one will attempt to steal it from him then starts dragging it across the ground. After cleaning off the millipede's toxins Tank devours it ravenously.

Lancaster stays below ground with the pups as Josephine heads above. He keeps his body wrapped around the pups and fluffs out his fur to help keep them warm.

Bravo and Linda continue to fight for the scorpion. Being stronger than Linda, Bravo gets the upper hand and manages to keep her off of him long enough to snatch the scorpion and run.

Linda chases him and then stops, giving up. She's probably using up more energy trying to get the scorpion than the scorpion itself would actually provide. As Bravo eats his prize, Linda digs at the ground, aggravated over not finding any food.

Unaware of Bravo coming out victorious in the food competition with his sister, Tank has moved on to the underneath of a bush to forage. Unfortunately he finds nothing and moves on to another place forage.

Bravo resumes foraging with the mob after finishing the scorpion.

Linda keeps digging, worried now about the lack of prey available. She finally gets some success and finds a millipede. She rubs the toxic slime off and eats it ravenously. She then resumes digging, eating anything she finds.

Keeko guards Buckeye pregnant. He knows she's able to mate again, and is on high alert. He scans the area, no rover was going to get to Buckeye.
Luna follows, but stays at the back wairily.

Tank furiously digs into the ground. He pulls up a beetle and eats it quickly.

Bravo conmtinues to dig up small prey, slowly regaining strength lost during his time spent alone.

Linda forages ravenously, trying to get as much nutrition as she can in the worst possible time of year to have pups. She's met females who were forced to abort their litters because of malnourishment. She doesn't want that to happen to herself.

Tank glances up from foraging and notices Linda struggling to find something that'll help support her unborn litter. He sighs worried for her pups. It's the worst time of the year to be pregnant. Alot of females tend to lose their litters at this time of year but perhaps Linda will come out lucky. Tank tries to stay possitive for her and hopes her litter will survive the harsh winter.

Linda fails to notice Tank as she digs, unearthing and eating some grubs she finds.

Bravo looks down, feeling sorry for his sister. He did find the scorpion, so it was his, but Linda needs food more than he does, even if he is a little underweight. He finds a millipede, cleans the slime off, and bites it in half. He then eats his half and gives the other half to Linda.

Linda quickly eats her half, thanking her brother and forgiving him. She then gets back to finding food herself.

Tank smiles seeing Bravo's generosity. He returns to foraging and moves to the base of a stump to forage. Perhaps there could be some scorpions somewhere underneath the earth.

Bravo keeps foraging. He should be back to normal weight within a week if he keeps it up. He hasn't had this much success in foraging in weeks.

Linda forages without stopping, trying to end her hunger.
