Roleplay - 29th of October

Linda uncovers a skink and gets ready to eat it. She then drops it on the ground to scratch an itch on her neck.

Lavender sees Linda drop the skink and is tempted to make a grab for it but contains herself. She starts to forage for herself around the burrow.

Lancaster sneezes as the ants bite his nose but despite the annoyance they're causing him, he continues to lap them up. They may not be very nutricious but they are pretty tasty.

Linda grabs the skink and eats it. She joins Lancaster in attempting to eat the ants.

Lavender finds herself a millipede and drags it across the ground to get rid of its toxic coating then devours it quickly.

Lancaster backs away from the ants nest and starts to rub off some ants from his muzzle as their constant stings start to irritate him.

The ants crawling all over her is starting to aggitiate Linda, but she keeps eating them, which is only making them more angry.

Lancaster forcfully blows out his nostrils and his eyes start to tear up as he feels an ant crawl half way inside his nose.

Lavender sees Linda and Lancaster fighting with the ants and pads over to investigate.

The ants continue to swarm over Linda. One bites her tongue as she eats them and she draws back. She's had enough of them, but they haven't had enough of her. The ants remain on her body, biting wherever they can. She rolls on the ground, trying to get them off.

ooc- This reminds me of when my dog got invaded by ants when she tried to eat them.

Lancaster sits on his haunches and rubs off the rest of the of the ants from his face. He's more successful with removing the ants from his body but sees that Linda could use some help. He pads over to her and grooms off some of the ants from her hind quarters.

Lavender walks over to the ants nest and sniffs at it curiously. She jumps back as an ant clings onto her nose and stings her.

Linda picks the ants off of her side, slowly getting rid of them. She plucks them off of her legs as well. This is why she normally tries to avoid ants. They're small, hard to get, and unlike other prey, tend to fight back in large numbers.

Lancaster helps Linda to pluck the ants off her. Usually he avoids ants nests for this reason but he had let his hunger get to him.

Lavender backs away from the ants nest shaking her head and rubbing her nose. The ant sting to her nose is really painful.

Luna follows slowly, sure to stay out of Buckeye. With Buckeye being pregnant and all, Luna had tried to keep a distance.

Lancaster finds a few ants crawling on Linda's side and plucks them off.

Lavender whimpers as the pain from the ant's sting radiates through her nose.

Linda plucks off the remaining ants and grooms herself. Next time she'll be more careful around hive insects.

Lancaster realizes that no one is gaurding the burrow and trots back over to stand sentry in front of the burrow entrance.

Lavender sneezes and rubs her nose as she feels something moving inside. She sneezes hard, sending the ant that stung her flying out of her nose.

Linda finishes grooming herself and walks over to Lavender, a little concerned. She peeps curiously, wondering what's wrong.

Lavender looks to Linda with one eye closed tightly as she waits out the pain. She peeps telling Linda that she had one of those pesky stinging ants up her nose.

Lancaster sits feeling relaxed as a gorgeous breeze blows through his fur.

Linda sits as well in front of Lavender. She's unsure if an ant can actually harm a meerkat, so she watches Lavender carefully. She sighs in content as she feels the breeze run through her fur.

Lavender sighs relieved as the pain disappears. She's never been stung by ant before so she's unsure of what to expect as the day goes on.

Lancaster leans back on his haunches and looks around at his environment. The way the sun is hitting the mountains and trees looks beautiful.

Linda goes over and sits near the burrow, feeling relaxed and tranquil. She's nolonger worrying about... she's not even going to think about it. She should just enjoy the peace while she can. For better or worst, she's unaware of the building tension at the foraging party.

Lavender joins Linda and Lancaster at the burrow entrance. She lays down on her belly with her limbs and head spread out on the ground. The sun's warm raise felt good on her back and the breeze felt so relaxing.

Lancaster decides to advantage of the tranquility and heads into the burrow to check on the pups. He finds the chamber, sniffs at them then lays next to them.

Linda yawns and takes in the sights as she relaxes during this calm time. Due to recent events, there's been few chance to just sit and relax. A life where every day is like this would be boring, but having a little more relaxation time is fine by her.

Lavender raises her head and looks up at the sky. The thin whispy clouds drifting over head looked beautiful.

Lancaster nuzzles the pups nurturingly. He hopes to become a father of his own pups some day.

Jackie climbs up a tree stump to get a higher vantage point.

ooc: I think we might have finally lost LPZ....

Linda looks around. Even when all seems calm, there is still danger. Whether it be a predator, a sneaky rival mob, or a rover, that is, a rover other than the one she wants to return.
