Roleplay-24th of December

Lancaster's heart jumps into his throat as he heard Tyler emit a shrilling alarm call. Upon looking over at him, he notices his nose is directed at the sky and follows his gaze to the Martial Eagle. Lancaster's eyes widen with slight fright and his heart rate elevates but he isn't too concerned. They're a mere foot from the burrow entrance so if the eagle swoops down at them, they'll have enough time to make it into shelter safely.

tyler Watches the Eagle

Phantom hears Tyler and looked around. W-What was going on!? It took him a bit, but finally spotted the eagle. He gulped.

Lancaster keeps his eyes trained on the martial eagle. His heart races as he watches it soar right above their location.

tyler starts to creep in to the burrow seeing it coming down

Mozart was at the foraging party, sitting next to Tank. She yawned slightly, quite tired.

As the Martial Eagle perched itself on the branch of a near by camel thorn tree, Lancaster reverses half way into the burrow, his heart now pounding against his chest. The moment he sees it swoop down towards the burrow, he's retreating into the tunnel complex.

At the foraging party, Tank is unaware of the imminent danger facing his brother and the other babysitters at the burrow and is still performing his shift as setinal. He twists his head in every direction every 3 seconds, making sure not to miss anything that could pose a threat to the group.

Saja has stopped foraging and is resting under the shade of a drie doring bush.

Ashtail was awake and now was doing some sentry duty herself.

Phantom watches as the eagle began to drive. Alarmed, he looked around, ensuring everyone was in the burrow. Seeing Sarah and Grace still out, he quickly ushers them into the burrow. He double takes if anyone else is outside before he got in the burrow himself.

Molly fails to hear the alarm and is still cuddling with Buckeye's litter and ensuring to remove any fleas or any other pests off the fragile little ons.

Lancaster's heart jumps into his throat as he saw the martial eagle suddenly swoop towards the ground. He quickly retreats into the burrow tunnel, moving briskly through its complex and making his way towards the deepest depths of the burrow, fearing the eagle may attempt to snatch anyone unluck enough to be situated near the entrance.

In an abandoned bolt hole approximately 150 feet away, lone female Ixchel watches the martial eagle's silent swoop upon the Willow mob. Despite the eagle's proximity, she doesn't feel threatened because its attention is focused on the larger congregation of Suricata suricatta, most of which are now diving into a bolt hole. Ixchel looks on somberly, waiting for the eagle to fly off, leaving her an opening to plead for acceptance into this group.

ooc: The eagle was near the burrow.

Once he reaches the chamber harboring Molly and the pups, Lancaster chatters frantically, warning the teen of the martial eagle that's situated in the vicinity of burrow grounds. He hunkers down in the burrow, uncertain when it'll be safe to re-emerge.

OOC: I know. I don't know if it came across in my post, but Ixchel was watching the eagle and the Willows from a bolt hole.

ooc: Ok. The Willows are out foraging. The only ones at the burrow are Lancaster, Phantom, Molly and I think someone else. They're babysitting Buckeye's new born pups.

ooc: Also, Grace is there.

ooc: Oh yeah, I forgot that's who it was XD

ooc: Ok. Awww poor Tyler Remember if you do kill him, you can still play him in the Sun Angels :3

Lancaster notices Tyler unconcious on the burrow floor and peeps with concern. He approaches him and gives him a nudge, attempting to wake him up.

Tyler wakes up and looks at lancaster

Lancaster gives a concerned peep, asking Tyler if he's ok.
